A BB in any game facing a numerically superior and semi competent cruiser force, isn't OP at all. It's when there are equal in numbers, let alone greater in numbers. This is because cruisers can wolfpack any BB, but they rely on DoT and have to take advantage of mistakes of the enemy. Meanwhile, BB's just lolpen citadel cruisers randomly. The popularity of BB's isn't because they are to strong, but because they are to easy.

I don't have problems with class balance, just class distribution. Tier 8 CA's perhaps need a heal, you see avg damage increase dip there while it spikes for BB's. Overall though, CA's are fine. BB's are also fine in general, there are just way to many. You can't balance this with buff's and nerfs, WG has tried and failed. What they should do is just impose a limit on numbers just like CV's.

There are TO MANY DARN BB'S and that has a reason. Anything else is not relevant to that. Sure there are baddies in every class, that's not relevant. There are more of them in BB's.

Yeah.... except this is not true, since going into the 'middle area' in your cruisers while you battleships happily camp behind you just means you're going back to port quicker. Middle area is for DD's, cruisers stick with the BB's it's the only way they can be played really ( or you need to find some island you can shoot over, or you need a buddy with a DD which can smoke you up when you're getting focused. Let's just agree to disagree on a LOT of individual points. The only thing we seem to agree on is that gameplay is static right now. Maybe, hopefully, you will even agree this is because there are to many BB's.

They want the most forgiving machine, the machine in which even BBaboons can do decent. BB's aren't to strong, they are 'too easy'. And because they are to easy, people flock to them. This creates less incentive to play cruisers, since most cruisers are actually not that good in dealing with many BB's on enemy team. Which should lead to more and more DD's being played, as they have no citadel and can deal with BB's a lot easier then cruisers. And tier X is the one tier where there are actually more DD's then CA/CL... still not as many as there are BB's being played though.

5 is only one more then WG's own 'max' preffered BB's per game. It's the games with 8 BB's, 2 DD's 1 CV and you in your shiney new cruiser which is the real fun part of WoWs Though mostly it's 5-7 BB's not 8, guess it could be worse.
