  4. What you say is possible, but means that WG hates you personally. Because the numbers @ShinGetsu is using are reliable server stats. More reliable than personal anecdotes.

    They said they will monitor the situation with DD's in particular, I hope they will give timely feedback and not wait on community to keep complaining and only then come back with ' we did test and found nothing sorry '.
  6. That is what 3 torpedoes did to a battleship. Want to talk about realism again? It doesn't really favor BB's as much as you're thinking it seems. It would be nice to have a damage model with actual joints which could deform ( actual model not just damage textures ). But the impact on gameplay should be limited if there at all.

Not many disagree that damage saturation is a flawed mechanic, but there is no need to a> claim DD's are OP when you fail at them b> claim BB's aren't OP just because it's the only class you do not suck in c> .... That is what I said, basically agreeing with what you yourself said. And you reply with... So either you are being a troll, you are stupid, or your English isn't as good as I'm assuming. Or a combination of those.

    So you take A or C and focus first on blocking B from favorable position and only cap it when possible? If you split to A and C half of your team is likely to run into superior forces and be unable to delay the capture long enough to offset any losses taken. While the team which focuses on one cap, and sends perhaps a lone DD to the other to delay, has the best chance of securing it's objectives. The interesting thing is when both team goes for the same cap's, then the team which adapts the quickest will gain the advantage.

    A pushing 'lemming train' is a concentration of guns as was said already earlier, that's the thing it's not lemming train unless they are pushing into a death trap ( you know, like lemmings ) :) Lemmings is derived from the game, it describes 'follow the one in front' behavior without being aware of anything. So it's a lack of awareness which describes 'lemmings' in WoWs. Two ships can be lemmings if they are out of position in relation to the objectives/team/enemy.

    Well the biggest generalization is the term 'lemming train', some people think a lemming train is any concentration of ships moving together when it's only an actual lemming train when they stop on first engagement when they should push, or when they push when being engaged when they should disengage. Other than that, @Titan_net is right as well and basically said the same. Maybe the topic should be left to rest in peace as it's not constructive unless specified.

    Winning what? Engagements? So what, doesn't do you much good in domination when you 'kill everything at D' while ignoring all the other caps because you lemming train. Also, new account, 25 posts and most importantly Notice the differences with most of the people disagreeing with you. I love lemming trains on enemy team, let's me cap in peace and then farm some blob off concentrated ships somewhere. edit: Also, sometimes when you see people be salty in chat about lemming trains, it's the people complaining in the wrong. But sometimes, those people are usually correct. It's a minority though, because the people who are usually right have given up on team chat because most of them know it's effort wasted.

Because it is the 'persistent' type of player which makes people like me not play the mode at all Joking aside, the argument that if you don't progress within X amount of games and are stuck at the rank you 'ranked out at' is actually more 'skillful'. On the other hand, if you limit the amount of games MM can still carry one guy and screw the other guy by putting them into teams with lesser players than the enemy. Because if you are limiting the amount of games per rank progression, you can no longer claim 'sufficient sample size' for random matchmaker. So not sure if it would indeed be as positive a change, there could be increased loss of sanity because of getting empirically worse teams ( so not talking about the "it's not me, it's always my team" excuse, but the real thing ). Now, what WOULD fix it is a clan mode where you choose the people you play with and are matched against comparable players/clans

  21. I don't play ranked because I can't consider a game mode 'competitive' when you are playing with randoms. I can't stand having six randoms in my team who all think their input is the most valuable, of which 3 from the start are playing to not lose a star and where from experience I can tell that I personally would lose any sanity I have left if I tried to push to any high rank in any season. There is no reason to feel sadomachistic.

    Harekaze's Captain Skills

    The proof is in the pudding they say ( if my English proverbs are on point.. which I think they are, at least in this case ). Maybe the Harekaze with the 3 hulls can be played in vastly different ways in even the same hull config ( would actually make sense right ). So which is 'better' might be up to personal preference. I like her in the role of gunboat, and I think she feels quite balanced in that regard even with the low hp. And that's mainly because I am used to the 100mm from Akizuki, and the ONLY reason I don't play that ship anymore without stealth firing, is that is handles like a whale. Evasion tanking with Akizuki is not possible / not fun. Evasion tanking with Harekaze, and having your 100mm to return fire, now that is fun. And in my case, so far also somewhat effective ( even with suboptimal captain build ).
