Those divisions are exempt from the 1 max difference rule, off course. I agree I don't have an issue with divisions, not at all. I do with MM not balancing ships based on roles instead of classes as the game has clearly outgrown this limited four class principle.- 59 replies

Armored flight deck, other higher tier carriers also have them. Just as IRL where they were meant to stop dive bombers from easilly penetrating to hangar / machinery. Aim low so your shells hit the broadside and not the deck.

He is crying complaining in other topics that WG should remove divisions because they are unfair. He just has no friends to play with so he thinks that WG will remove the incentive of lots of others to PAY for this game's development and remove the ability to play with friends, just because some potato blames his lacking performance on divisions. The valid part, not present in this thread yet so it might not actually be something he finds actually important, is that MM should better balance divisions if possible ( WG already said they would like to, maximum difference should be 1 division ), but more so roles / types of ships. It's more an issue that one team get's a lot of radar and the other team none, or one team has severe advantage in stealthy destroyers. That causes much more variance in outcome as divisions.- 59 replies

829 pvp battles 47.77% win rate, avg tier 5.2 So if your post is supposed to indicate how balanced Belfast is, you're failing to take into account other factors as the ship. I see you finally won ONE of your SIX battles in her though ( why did you say you lost eleven in a row, you had only played three battles in her at the time.. ).

Man... IFHE is binary, you either pen 32mm or you don't. Tweaking there is not possible ( unless you go actually change armor plating values on all ships ). How many times does that need to be repeated before people stop arguing to 'tweak' the penetration values? There is no benefit from ifhe if you don't hit certain thresholds.

It's a slight exaggeration but there is a large foundation of truth in it. Battleships, and especially Bismarck / Tirpitz, are way to forgiving and single cell organisms which snipe in them aren't being punished by economy hard enough. Also, they need to make a new bingo card, as there are almost no boxes left unticked on the old one. As to claiming the problem is with players... yeah that's why server statistics for games played are so nicely balanced, because players flock to the most forgiving and easy to play class. We saw the same before remember, Shimakaze with good 20km torps. Same thing -> easy to play and get decent results due to area denial walls of torps ( still a bit sad I never got to to play with them since I unlocked it right after it was rebalanced ). edit: btw I never would claim all battleships are easy to play, I seem to perform best in them where they are the most broken ( tier 8 and below ). Getting really good solo battleship results in random battles in high tier is imho actually harder as other classes. That is why I don't play Yamato alone anymore, but I have no issues with solo playing my cruisers.

But why do they need to be? I don't mind having skill requirements for classes, I like being challenged. But it's unfair that some one cell amoeba in a battleship can get results which are impossible for said amoeba in any other class.

If this was posted on april 1st I would have laughed. WG TELLING PEOPLE TO SIT IN THE BACK AND SNIPE WITH A BATTLE SHIP IS THE UNDENIABLE EVIDENCE THEY DON'T EVEN PLAY THEIR OWN GAME. I seriously have problems finding motivation of starting this game again. Babies encouraged to sit at range, being ffin invulnerable to their supposed counter DD's because they actually have caps to contest and their torpedoes don't have the range to threaten battleships which lost their W key while sitting in queue..... while the babies snipe, and with CV's being near extinction

Have you not payed any attention? WG won't remove it, you can cry your eyes out and it won't change anything. It's a core element of any WG game, MMO where you can play with your friends, it's what makes WG money. And you really think your complaints would change that? Change ships which are overperforming to much, some variation is normal and to be expected by ships like Belfast / Kaga / Saipan statistically are not defendable.

Depends on which cv and which bb. And yes, it's intended and yes it's fair. You are either lying or incompetent, since even the best super unicum cruiser players I know don't feel that way about balance. Ahh, so if you do nothing you can deal with a battleship. Well good I will tell them. edit: before it's brought up, you can use some tier X cruisers and say they are representative of cruiser - battleship balance all you want, it's still not true I don't think my Hindenburg or Zao or even my Moscva which I haven't come to terms with yet, need any buffs. Maybe some of the ( new ) battleships could use a *cough concealment cough* *cough he performance cough* change though. -

IFHE is a binary toggle, you either pen 32mm plating or you don't. The only thing they can play with is how much additional fire chance you keep. Well I say that, but ofc WG can change everything they want to, they can make lines have IFHE built in they can make lines have extremely high fire chance.. even if those lines are all battleships.

I think that applies perfectly here so yeah Maybe the quote wasn't really clear but every topic avenger121 really gets worked up about are all about CV's and they all end up like this thread has in the past few posts. So yeah, that 'polluting the forum' is a bit ironic if you consider that. It's a shame though as I actually can read, enjoy and like his other content to a degree, just his passion against carriers seems to impede with his higher brain functions -

More CV's with lower damage is still a buff as damage needs to be concentrated enough to actually kill something to have any meaningful impact. BB's living LONGER because damage is lower and it takes more strikes to kill them makes it just more likely my cruisers and destroyers get hit by a devastating strike of one of those battleships. If you talk about lowering damage off carriers you should also consider what impact that has. I know, that is probably really difficult for you to understand Or do you propose we lower damage from battleships as well? -

I assume you mean that CV players which also play other classes 'always' have their best performance in CV's? I'm not convinced that's always true, I see way too many terrible CV players to actually consider them being worse in other classes and yet still capable of semi operating a kb+mouse combination as a possibility. Ok ok cheesy remarks left aside, if this is what you base your argument on, the way to present this argument is with linking statistical evidence. What is the 'average gain of win rate' when players play in carriers as opposed as in their other classes? Was already posted right? I read it hours ago just not sure if it was this thread or one of the others -
I wouldn't mind if Aki got IFHE built in, just like some other ships seem to get it for free.
