Since players have no relation to WG at all, I expect much more ... uhm... blunt feedback. You know, since if you're not 'constructive' that's not really something they enjoy so not having any relation with them might actually give better feedback... This would be a redeeming chance, I think WG from making the release and initial reactions ( bad things.. ) , has actually taken the best option available to them. This project should be part of their new desire 'to get better at communication'. That is why I would advice people who bought it to see it through and to be part of this. Also, I never said ST feedback has no influence, but WG has themselves said individual ST will not always have an opinion which will be shared by developers or other ST. Think that was in the last ST recruitment thread.

It is not his triangle system, first one to explain CV's to me in detail was strangers and this is his talk ( he might actually have it from fara or reyte though ). Just saying, his 'system' isn't one player it's just how they ( CV's ) actually work as seen by the best players in that class. But as Ishiro32 has pointed out in another thread, WG has always had access to good CV feedback / suggestion, as some of the best if not the best CV players have been part of ST in the past and present. So having the feedback doesn't seem enough. edit: not even 1/2 way in, but he's already talking about balance paramaters on which I just don't have the expertise to comment since I don't play carriers. The parts I can apply to gameplay, I agree with what he says. 3 TB's with that drop pattern should not be easy kills to DD's for instance. Also his talk about plane utility makes sense.

WG made a major mistake with how this was handled, now WG is saying they want to commit with owners to a quite elaborate trajectory in fixing it. WG benefits, feedback from paying costumers is probably less tainted as feedback from people who have an existing bond with WG ( ST / CC ). CC might not be as brutally honest as we'd like them to be because they feel they are in a mutually beneficial relation, and ST well I'm sure some people are actually 'impressed' with having that 'title' and not want to say bad things which might harm their 'status'.

Suspicious behavior of clans in game should be reported to support :) Counting in is not suspicious behavior, but 'running away and not shooting on your clan members' could actually be crossing a line ( depending on replay ).

Average players have usually less understanding of game mechanics and are less capable of understanding balance issues. I think WG needs to work with ALL their CC's right now to set up a behavioral covenant and then actually keep to it.

But it totally contradict everything they been communicating so far, that they wanted to restore balance to what it was during cbt with an optimal number of around 3 battleships or 4. And they said it's mostly tier 8 which is a problem and the numbers supported them. Now it's suddenly: get used to it, they will remain the most played class. Did they really just switch position or is this a miscommunication? I'm not even sure :(
