  1. Ahh wait, those mounts are the same as the secondary mounts of the KGV.. that's pretty anemic in AAA values, but should do much better vs ships.. I hope it has smoke to, so I can troll Flints with it....

    IJN vs USA CV - worst part of this game

    Worst part of this game is developers making it World of Babyboats. Yes, having bad CV balance is part of this plan to make Babies the most played class, but it's only part of the plan. Screwing over cruisers by introducting new BB's with better concealment is another part, ow and they in all their wisdom think that good HE is needed to counter other battleships who angle... you see that USED TO BE punished by carriers and destroyers...... but since WG doesn't WANT THOSE SHIPS IN THE GAME, they have to start giving babies more ways to kill the other babies. Kick the babies, punch the babies, burn the babies, drown the babies and just to be sure, kill them with dragonglass so they never come back!
  3. Dido is something I been waiting for, UK Atlanta with bigger guns... 133mm vs 127mm ( odd caliber btw, 133mm ). Sadly tomorrow is the second baby invasion, and all people trying to counter that should be playing Kamikaze R or CV ( and ignore each other, go for the babies first, babies are evil, kick the babies, burn the babies, drown the babies and make sure they don't ever come back )

    gheghe gheghe I've made it my task to seal club away as many possible players from baby boats. Yes, that means Isokaze - Kamikaze R time. The ONLY thing which will ruin my fun when the second baby invasion starts, is competent CV players on the enemy team... I almost want to make a thread to make a pact between DD's and CV's to kill the babies first and ignore each other, just to restore some balance.... But that would probably be rigging and WG would ban me for suggesting it :(

  6. Would be so nice to finally hear an answer from WG you know... this ignoring and hoping it will go away is getting really really .... irritating. What do you think Dropsiq? Is today THE day we will finally hear the repeat statement: GET USED TO BABIES BEING THE MOST PLAYED CLASS?

    https://wows.mv-smirnov.org/en/ It also has a topic in the mods section. Sadly can't work from just replay files so you need to use it to collect records ( it uses a log parser ). It does show game time, and would point out a trend if enough people had been using it... not that I use it atm but I'm not playing that much

    Ideally MM has a big enough player pool distributed over all tiers to make +-2 happen equally, sadly we don't have that player pool. Therefore I find it ludicrous to read people asking for +-1mm, arguing that we have sufficient players for it. Maybe on the highly populated tiers we might during server peak times, but the 'less popular tiers' wouldn't suffer from long queue times a lot. More to offset the arguably variable effect of tier spread ( due to some class balance shifting along the tiers ).

    But you control engagements with other DD's since you have best concealment. Capping when you don't know where the radar cruisers are is a big risk but the same for a tier 9 or 10 DD with the only difference being your hitpoint pool being smaller. I never liked Kagero, but I like Harekaze with Akizuki gun setup.

    I don't really understand that though, is labour for programmers cheaper there? Can't they just copy whatever they need to copy for this functionality to be available on this server as well.... I got this gut feeling it's not so much a technical problem preventing this, or an availability of labour.

    There are ships in which I rather broadside as angle... I mean, broadside means they overpen guaranteed and if I angle they might actually full pen me. That part of the mechanics has nothing to do with BB population and should be changed. Mangrey is right, mistakes like broadsiding need to be punished, and angling / evasion tanking should be rewarded. That is also the problem with the new below waterline citadels of BB's. They (WG) done this because they can 'brawl better', and take more damage from plunging fire or something. But that's BS, babies don't brawl because they CAN, they never brawl. Babies use their German BB's with a spotter plane ffs. This is what I mean with WG fixing issues the wrong way, making the problem only bigger.

    Normalization is uniform, uniform I think means that it's applicable to all of them so yeah :P ( except rn cl ). Actually, I'm not sure on the RN BB's I think they have normal BB shell's but not 100% sure? edit: ty MrTonMou :) Anyway yeah lose pen with distance faster AND have flatter trajectory so you impact angle is different. Usn auto bounce angles and their heavy AP shells is what keeps their pen up at long ranges due to having very high arcing trajectory.

    Meh people will drop some in their average damage, but your xp should go up because you're doing more procentual damage to targets right... sadly xp is way less brag worthy I know

    The overmatch mechanic hurts cruisers which use skill to minimize damage through angling and minimizing profile, and I'm mainly a cruiser player so I KNOW how this feels. But, this issue is magnified by the BB population problem. Reduce BB population before touching other mechanics. The damage you take through overmatching might actually be on a level which would make cruiser survivability 'fine' in the long run over multiple games. Yes, that means that I accept that a battleship can, OCCASIONALLY, get lucky enough to hit my small profile and angled cruiser in a spot where the shell hits my citadel regardless. I mean, it's a friggin battleship shell right I won't vote right now though, as the battleship population issue is distorting everything and I feel balance changes to other mechanics should be avoided until it is fixed.

  23. I got two solo warriors.. you know what they mean? They mean my team died and I had to hide to run out the timer ( ahead on points ). Well one was, the other I WANTED to try and sink the enemy but I had low hp and my team was begging me to stop shooting and just fade into concealment... Those medals have no meaning to me at all, they weren't special games on the contrary I hope to never have those games again :P

    I dismiss your evidence because it is not evidence of stacking happening frequently. It doesn't proof ANYTHING. You need much more data in order to form a conclusion. You lacking that data, and me and my clan members all telling your sorry behind to go and try it for yourself... yet you know you can't do that as you wouldn't be able to actually 'stack the MM' if you tried. STAHP CRYING, your stats are fair, our stats are fair, capice. edit: and again, can a MOD PLEASE CLOSE THIS NOW? Ow even if they don't, unless you finally have something worth reading, like empirical data proofing something other than you being obsessed with 'unfair MM' for some reason, I'm just going to ignore this thread ;)

    You make a claim, you have to proof it. All I can do is offer my own personal experiences, as sadly WG's statistics about how many times clan members end up in the same match, and in the same match in opposing teams, are not public "It's not fair" = it's 'easier for them' / 'harder for me'. Semantics can twist it many ways, but in essence that is why you're losing sleep over this it seems. So you're claiming your evidence is the frequency of your personal observed clan stacking during off peak hours? And you expect people to roll with you and demand WG takes action based on it? We already gave you the option to give actual evidence: find some friends, announce you're going to attempt to 'stack' the MM and post screenshots at the end off your gaming session to show off how it worked out for you. Anything else is just empty rhetoric bashing clan members and I still feel this whole topic has run it's course so it should be closed imHo.
