  1. After reading this thread I think that you are generalizing too much It all depends whether lemming train is actually lemming train or a battle group. Let me explain what I mean by this. In every battle (WoT and WoWs) your units survival mostly depends on commanders (in this case yours) ability to asses the situation and react to changes on battlefield dynamically in shortest amount of time possible(there are situations when odds are too much in your favor... everybody that played 'world of something something' title should know that by now ). I believe that dynamic battle group has a lot more chances to win a game than any other tactic. But its all on shoulders of capitans of ships that are in group. For example: DD's are harder to detect and can serve as your eyes and ears in head of main force. But after a hard contact they shouldn't linger around for that lucky barage from BB that will explode their ammo reserves and sink them. They should either flank or withdraw from that area and let the big boys take and dish out the damage while they try to contest other area of the map. And so on. Capitan should know which class he is cruising in and limitations of that class and its role on battlefield. And I think this is more of a problem than people all going in one way People not knowing what to do with their ships is the problem not the direction that they take
