Yup, installed the game a couple days ago with no idea this was going on, checking now I did get the email on Saturday but I got the chain yesterday (after a few games 2 days ago). What's worrying me is the "Section will be available for 11:40:38 (so just under 12h from now)" despite the 2 mission chains apparently being available for over a month. Is this just spaghetti code where it's re-opening itself every 24 hours? Edit: Yup, that's exactly what happened. Maybe a countdown for how many days are remaining would be a bit more intuitive?

Why aren't we allowed to assign a captain to multiple tech tree ships? Like you made a big song and dance about how each class has its own skills now, and how each captain has a different section for each class, but you can't actually take advantage of that unless you have premium/special ships, which is more or less the same system we have now...

Don't forget about the Unique Upgrade! With Yamato you just regrind a line once or twice, with the ARP version you have to pay an extra 21k doubloons because it only comes as part of the large bundle. Plus it's a special ship, not premium, so iirc that means no credit modifier but you do get a lower repair cost, and as you pointed out it's not immune to balance changes either (though I'm not sure what about Yamato would need to change?)

Sorry if this has already been done, but I'm curious about what people are thinking after the announcement of the second test of cross-server Clan Battle MM here.

Wasn't the whole concept behind tier IX-X premiums that you needed to spend a certain amount of time in the game to be able to get them? Sure, you can convert fxp, but you need the elite xp for it in the first place. You need to play to earn coal bit by bit, and play (and do fairly well in) competitive game modes to get steel for Flint/Black/Stalingrad, or convert that steel (heresy!) to coal. Just to test, I made a new account, went straight to the premium shop without playing a single battle, and I can see and buy the Jean Bart. Obviously the levels in the service record will mean that I'll need to play a little bit to actually get to random battles, but that unlocks at level 3... I was hoping there would be some kind of limit related to the number of battles played/you highest tier, to ensure that people with Jean Bart have some kind of experience with tier IX-X gameplay, but I guess not.
