In trying to get the max out of my older Core2Duo cpu, I found the following Graphics Settings to directly relieve the CPU load. Especially in cases of many objects in the view. Animate small objects - Off (untick the box) *note that for a carrier this might be dull, as a squadron of planes is only shown as one plane. Shadow Quality - Low Reflections - Low Effects Preset - Low On my rig I can crank up the Graphic Quality to Very High, then do the 4 adjustments above and ending up with 55 FPS with drops to 20 occasionally. If your graphic Card is a bit older too, you can simply turn down the Quality a notch to lets say High, and then set the 4 CPU adjustments above.

I just did an uninstall and a fresh install to test for you Then a defrag. Loading time and ingame FPS is exact the same. Nor worse or better. I'm running on SSD drive.

Uhm... sorry to hear that. I have the same overall decrease as well and seen a lot of posts regarding the issue that FPS drops are related to some missing server side optimization. Let's hope it gets better. So hopefully we don't have to go out spending money on new hardware with little to no effect. Also fun to notice, that the minimum requirement on the US server is different from the EU server

Your CPU is same as mine, so the 4 setings will improve. Your GeForce might not be able to do High. Try Medium first and then adjust the 4 settings.

After trying a few ranked battles, I think the Secondaries upgrade and the Spotter plane consumable could be an option. When in ranked battle without a carrier, the extra firepower might come in handy. Tempted to switch too.

After having done some more battles in Colorado, I will adjust my suggestion to: Modules Slot1: Main Battery Modification 1 Slot2:AA Guns Modification 2 Gun Fire Control System Modification 1 *the 19km range works better for me Slot3: Damage Control System Modification 1 Slot4: Steering Gears Modification 2 Consumables Slot3: Catapult Fighter I / Spotter Plane *try out both and see what you like Doing this edit of post because this setup for me at least, is better than a midmap AA boat. It is off course hard to hit at 19 km range, but if you do, you will hit hard as the AP Shell will have a steeper angel on impact. I have actually done citadel hits at that range. A big hit on a BB will most likely make him rethink his present course, buying your team some time. Your AA are still able to keep up with defending your self from planes. And the Cataput fighter can be handy too. The Spotter plane will give you 23 km range and is fun, if you get a lucky shot and hits. Being able to do damage, even at luck, from a longer range, means you can survive the battle longer than if you have to get in close early in the battle. Just remember to use your good accuracy if you can in the 10 km range. Cruisers will not like getting hit by your guns at that range. So dont be affraid to get into the battle as it progress.
