A very, very satisfying Tirpitz game:

Trying to get the hang of DDs, and this was my first truly decent game in one...

Greatest achievement? Not actually exploding IRL when this game was a defeat while trying to complete the last stage of the OR mission...

Got 10 Hunter camos, 30 India Yankee flags and the Chime Of Bells collection thingy (which got me the Z-23 camo). Nice one, dude, thanks for the heads-up :)

Finally last night got my all-time WTR to 1,000 ...officially not a potato any more.

1. Description Game XP not being added for the 'Set Sail For Smith' mission. 2. Reproduction steps 1: played 2 games 2: XP total for the last stage of the mission had been at 13,868, but didn't go up after these two games 3. Result Unable to complete the mission as the game won't add XP scores from games completed today 4. Expected result Completing the mission and receiving Smith two or three games ago. 5. Technical details Everything else in game seems to be working, no settings have been changed since yesterday.

Agreed, this mission requirement was totally ridiculous.

Initially, she'll feel like a downgrade from Bismarck as she's not as tanky for her tier and meets T10s a hell of a lot more; once she's elited though, she's a very fun ship to play. I use the 406s with the reload mod as fast reload is your friend when brawling, and Aiming Systems in slot 2; the dispersion on the main guns is just too bad without it, and while secondaries are great you need those main rifles to be hitting consistently to keep your damage up. You still have 9.3 km range on your secondaries even so, and overall she's one of my best ships.

I don't like the 10x15" option, way too ahistorical; I'd rather see the 9x15" or, ideally, give her an upgraded 14" guns option.

I'm curious about Nelson; 23 knots is desperately slow for T8 and she has very poor AA, so part of me is wondering she'll actually be a second T7 premium and we might see Vanguard in the tree at T8. King George V certainly looks like she'll be fun as hell at T7.
