Did the fix for Battleship AP work for anyone?
I am still getting zero Citadel hits where before I was getting at least one in all games where I got into the action (as opposed to hang back and be a BB sniping jerk).
For some reason, since the infamous 5.1 patch, it seems like battleship guns are incredibly inaccurate.... even a single hit in a salvo even when perfectly aimed feels lucky now where before 2 hits where about the norm for a similar shot.
Yeah, I see no reason anymore to play BBs... instead of rolling the dice every 30 seconds hoping for a citadel hit, you now just do 1040 damage every 30 seconds... cool. No.
I might use the time to grind my DDs.... or I just might do something better while WG fixes this mess.
Just for the record: I do understand we got Citadel hits before we shouldn't have... but when the whole game is balanced around this, I would expect them to rebalance all BBs and some cruiser to make up for it. make the reload faster, or, you know, make them actually hit the broadside of a barn once in a while. Increase base damage on normal penetrations, whatever.
And then I could live with getting less citadel hits than before. But zero? Why even have a citadel when its not even hit once in a blue moon?
