Well I do...at BB,s But if the rangefinder makes the range, why does the Atlanta has same range as gearing with an rangefinder that sits almost twice as high?

Ahh now thats a bummer...getting a shitty feeling the Gearing is more UP then Fletcher in its own tier. Fletcher is great none the less because of its 12.9 KM gun range. But my jaw drops every time when I see Gearings range. wich is just only slightly higher then the Nicholas at tier 5.

Hi guy,s I started this topic because i am playing since closed beta and i wondered this the entire time. Why do US DD,s from Nicholas trough Gearing have so difrent ranges? because I made an list off all upgraded ranges down below: Nicholas: 10.9 KM Farragut: 12.6 KM Mahan: 11.7KM Sims: 12.9KM! I know Sims is premium but for comparison I put it here anyway Benson: 11.6KM Fletcher: 12.9KM Gearing: 11.1KM! this one especially made me facepalm. The Gearing has letterly 1.8 KM less range then the Fletcher.. and this should be an upgrade to the Fletcher The point I wanna make is with similar 127 mm guns, why does the range got so much difrence? I know there difrent marks of 127 MM guns.... but for gameplay sake, whats the point? Hi guy,s I know i don,t come to the forum often and write about ships and stuff, but i play both the american and japanese CV,s quite alot...baught the ranger again[sorry for my very bad english ] and i must say its now completly utter useless to use manual spread on cruisers and very agile BB,s anymore. the lock is now way to far ahead todo any corrections if its in lock and the distance way to far ahead. I know it needed a nerf because of all the short range drops but this is a bit overdue, because if I now do a manual spread from the japanese CV,s im lucky i get 2-3 torps right on target from my darn 12 bombers of my shokaku. Its even worse on the ranger wich gets only one torp sqaud. What u guy,s think? Should it be buffed a lil to get it in between de before patch lock and the new lock ? Or does it need to stay like this? Thanks for reading, Dbeerewout
