History aside I am only posting in this topic because apparently the OP is trash talking continentals because Russia uses the metric system (as does most of the world). If OP opened up with a normal request for a possible implementation of the imperial system instead of poisoning his own well by saying that other people are feeling inferior there would probably be far less drama and red in this thread. I really don't care either way, but since this is a RU dev and most people in the world and most of the playerbase is at least used to or is most familiar with metric I am not surprised that the game uses and is build around the metric system. I'd be fine with imperial being a option but OP could have made his case in a less boorish way.

I am not talking about socialism though. Nor am I even taking a postion on it. The other person put capitalism in the same row with fascism and bolshevism which are quite specific totalitarian ideologies whereas capitalism has no direct totalitarian implication. Practice is debatable (as is the use of totalitarianism in a modern context outside of North Korea). Information gathering and privacy violation is of course part of it, but outside of the Peoples Republic China and such the usage of these means tend to be quite constrained to profit seeking and government lobbying for companies and general monitoring of activity and espionage for governments. The amount of coercion of the state or companies on the average citizen in Europe is quite minimal when it comes to private and public life, which it definitly isn't in a totalitarian state. Political freedoms, freedom of press, freedom of religion etc. are still generally respected in Western Europe (at least as much as they have been, social pressures notwithstanding). And the US has many more facets to its government apparatus that contribute to a totalitarian system than a big influential corporate lobby.

Free market capitalism is the exact opposite of totalitarianism. I am curious how you even manage to reason that free market economics equal (near) complete state control of public and private life. Also capitalism is a economic system, not a political system.

I prefer Kancolle as all the characters have a lot of character to them. It also helps that it has a community near comparable to Touhou.

Clearly range is the single most important stat in the game. How else are you going to hit the enemy when you cower at the map border? And I still don't understand why there is a small vocal community of people shouting that everything british in WoWs and WoT according to them is terrible and that this is because WG hates the UK. UK ships are fine as they are and while the british have some crappy tanks there are quite a few good ones just like every other line in that game.

Yes. A multimillion dollar company is doing all this to specifically piss you off. That is the most likely and logical answer. Don't let the fact that there are plenty of strong RN ships in game be a deterrent to this reasoning, clearly because a ship has less gun range WG is trying to put the poor brits down and this can't be attributed to other things like balancing because WoWs is a arcade game and not a simulator. This point doesn't even make sense since Leander is performing fine with the current range on its guns. I really don't see the problem that it doesn't have a historical range. And Warspite having less range than other ships because it's guns are accurate and hard hitting for her tier seems like a logical tradeoff for balancing purposes.

It's going to take some effort to fully get the hang of her, but so far she feels great. She handles like a dream, definitly feels like one of the most agile ships in the game even if she slows down to ~29 in a hard turn. Rudder seems really prone to getting rekt so I am considering eventually getting LS on her after getting DE and CE.

I don't think getting randomly damaged due to bad weather is a fun or engaging game mechanic so I'd vote no.

I haven't seen a single thread calling for buffs for the Tirpitz. Not quite sure what motivated this in general or why WG thought Tirp needed such a buff. Dropping sales figures perhaps?
