Wargaming just admitted that they don't play their own game. Or do any testing themselves. Or have any issue with wilfully misinforming their customers and duping them out of 50 euros for a broken untested PoS. If WG has any issue with this statement than I'd like to see these muppets actually attempt to play AP DB Graf Zep on the live server to back this up. Anyone duped into buying GZ deserves a refund and an apology at a minimum. Sorry if I sound disrespectful. I can handle the regular WG EU mess-ups like Christmass convoys, Carnaval event, Kamikaze R, etc, but boldfaced lying to customers is where I draw the line.

So the release IS intentional? WTF WG How come that what one region says completely contradicts what the other region says? How come that many CCs were told that the ship isn't anywhere near ready yet here WG EU is proudly proclaiming it finished and proudly selling clearly unfinished garbage for 50 euros? According to Notser WG has stated that Graf Zeppelin will be recalled in a micro patch as it was not intended to be released yet as it had not finished testing yet. There will be no recall on GZ as WG just released that the ship is working as intended. The AP bombs however are not working as advertised. The bombs supposedly fall for 6 seconds after they are dropped, but they actually don't and the bombers only release the bombs six seconds later because the feature wasn't tested before the ship was rushed out into the premium shop. This means that even after they are on their way back to the carrier all bombers that are shot down between the moment of drop and the moment of impact won't count as having dropped their bombs. You are advised to NOT BUY GRAF ZEPPELIN in its current state.

Release dates are passed down from the head office though. The regions can decide how and when they release it but only after WG gives them the clear. So WG EU has permission to release it in this state and with this little fanfare and without time for reviewers to inform people about the changes. At least that is how I understand it from LWM.

I'd say ask your money back. At least that sends a message to the devs that selling an untested ship without reviews etc for this much money is unacceptable. It will put more pressure on them fixing the ship and rethink how they could prevent such botched releases in the future. Vote with your wallet. You can always buy it again if they make it worth your money.

You know you done goofed when LittleWhiteMouse is angry over the fact that nobody had time to put up a proper review to warn potential buyers victims. Why did they release this with so little testing? Youtubers/Streamers didn't get a chance to try out the delayed bombs so there are no reviews out to warn people and people who didn't frequent the forums had no idea what they were buying into (which is partly on them for not looking into what they are buying, but it is also really shady by WG). I've seen people confused that she doesn't have 2-3-0 which is just amazingly shamefully bad communication on Wargamings part as well.

wut This. Worst thing is the amount of comments that I have seen that just say: 'but its Graf Zeppeling, I've got to have it' 1. The ship is trash, so you probably won't ever play it 2. You are supporting bad business practices and rewarding lazyness 3. Just buy a model kit or something. You get to look at it more often than just the few times in port and you'll probably get more enjoyment out of it. But seriously it's like WG is turning into a Steam Greenlight/Early access dev selling broken junk in the name of 'uniqueness' in a race for the most gimmicky ship because the enjoyment of players and health of the game is less important than just pushing out an unfinished bunch of pixels for extortionate amounts of money.

Don't forget that Enterprise get the T9 module slot so it is far better than Graf Z.

What kind of beginner would buy a €45 Tier 8 premium CV? And especially a bad one? Isn't this what they nerfed T4 and 5 CV's to have no alt-attacks for?

My bet would be on Saipan. Why do you think all other prem CV's had planes of lower tiers instead of higher tiers like Saipan? Kaga is a nightmare to other ships, but Saipan is a nightmare to other CV's and surface ships and might be pushing people away from playing the CV class in general.

Zep is trash. DO NOT BUY unless you want to get farmed by people in Enterprises and Shoukaku's

It's like an even more shitty Lexington. WG screws up carrier balance, who would have thought. Enterprise is also far better and more flexible.

And they nerf the fighters, because as we all know the problem was IJN fighters that were overpowered instead of USN having crappy loadouts What is with WG trying harder and harder to make USN fighters better instead of making the CV's themselves more flexible? It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this is only going to be mildly frustrating for IJN players and not help CV balance in the slightest.

^^ Aside from the MM which I find annoying on every T5 and T6 ship, Kongou bongo is still pretty enjoyable and strong for her tier. (although with Gangut (still waiting WG) she will be third best in AA) So get out there, get better and spread some burning love already!
