    Nope his highest is tier 7 at that tier the cruisers and dds are pretty weak compared to the tier 10 gunboat monsters of the IJN line, the Minotaur and the Island spammers. I have to get images from replays as well timing the shot is not really good enough trying to show the spread vs where it lands.

    Now try in the izumo...idk what the devs are smoking but they seem to think the guns shotgun at 5km. Also yea screens of lucky moments. How many times has you rounds gone over or under the target? Idk maybe luck is never on my side but i fire waterline and welp...RNG spread makes me miss.

    Because i dont play the lolspam cruisers, In fact i spend most of my time by the battleships doing my job, you know supporting them. Also i tend to stay hidden and not fire when side on. But hey damage is a stat clearly showing skill. As for battleships i aim with the line parallel to the water... Also i do the opposite of what the OP is whining about and push but hey...guess what you tend to die really fast. Also you dont even have a tier 9/10 non prem BB so why are you commenting?
  4. Drop the HP perk and get concealment perk, drop the target ac mod for the concel mod and enjoy cruiser like detection on a BB. Not being spotted if the new meta for BBs and its best as those long range cruisers cant spam you to death.

    Um yes, Go test the AP damage stats, most time it always hits 1k per shell, while HE always hits 75% damage per shell giving you more damage over time then AP, if you perfect aim and everything its all down to how bad the spread will screw you over. Would you rather do 1k overpen? Or 2-4k HE + fire. Also explain how Cruisers with 203mm guns have perfect groupings while Battleships have groupings that span the entire globe? Even in a cruiser its better to fire HE vs another cruiser since the chance of getting a broadside with their insane rudder shift is unlikely, unless ur against a spoon.

    Pretty much this, get in close as a BB and you become a HE exp pinata, while rest your team sails away from the guys shooting at you instead of helping you fire back while soaking all the hits for them. People go on about BBabies or BB whiners but its the other players who whine the most, Whine when they get killed across the map from a BB due to them being dumb and broadside, whine when a BB dies after getting in close, whine when a BB doesnt cap, whine when a BB sits at the back. See the pattern? As a BB driver your doomed to be whined at for even playing a battleship. This thread is prime example the OP mainly uses CA/DD so again whining about BB drivers doing something they dont like. P.S The BB HE spam is cause most of us probably sick of seeing 90% of the shells miss and that 1 shell hit for 1k damage, while a cruiser rains down all their shots for 3-4k with HE... HE is just the better more consistent form of damage right now. AP NEEDS A BUFF!

    What exactly does that do? Lowers the base ranges of only tier 9s/10s by like 3-5km and the spotter is used to counter smokes and island camps. P.S Also if sniping at 20km+ is so bad why are people whining about being instant killed at 20km+?

    I actually like this idea the powercreep on Cruisers kinda forces battleships back, as some cruisers out range battleships of their tier....and let us not forget the good old Cleveland with the range boosts from captain and mods, tier 6 monster with 18km range...

    Last time i checked the Tirpitz couldn't take hydro. Also IJN/US ships have no anti DD tools. The Missouri doesn't count since its a prem ship.

    At least ranged combat as a BB still exposes your ship, the island camping is just no risk max reward for cruisers unless people get an angle with spotter planes. And sniping? Really BBs are the longest range for a reason might as well use it, just a shame WG likes to nerf the rng dispersion so much you can miss a whole nation with it.

    No i didnt say no one used it but a BB 5km from a smoke screen is doing a stupid move to begin with, a Cruiser in a 5km range of a DD is also in a very stupid postion, when you can use a 10km radar BEHIND ISLANDS! P.S Tall tale is just referring to when i charge cause im sick of everyone whining BBs snipe all day, plus i know using my Tirpitz torps to scare BBs away from the cap helps, even DDs need to be careful.

    Hydro sucks compared to radar hence why in clan battles that take radar and one hindi cause the hindi has great guns and dps.

    Thank you for that contribution to the topic sooooo helpful. Ok yes both classes have bad players and good players but largely the game is at fault for making the cruisers have such a large array of tools. Ok just give BBs tools to fight DDs, sure a large ship like that would have radar. You want more torps, fine add more radar.

    Looks like the Cruiser lol spammers are trolling the thread, i mean It is your fault, a BB pushes the cruisers run away...the BB takes the damage to allow the cruisers to push and soon as the BB sinks they run...instead of pushing the cap or killing low hp ships, nope they always run away. 90% of the time its the cruisers are the back not using hydro or radar...most time the smoke cruisers only self smoke never to help their team. Also why are so many hiding ur accounts? Scared your gonna get called out for being those cruiser players who just sail in a straight line and left click when complain BBs are OP when they die in 1 shot. On topic, what is the reason then? Instead of trolling actually stay on topic.

    I think HE overall needs a rework even a nerf, with the British BBs spamming HE, gunboat DDs and Spam Cruisers the amount of DPS HE does compared to skilled aim shots of AP is much higher, plus HE doesnt have the wonderfull overpen mechanic. Or buff AP maybe AP needs a buff since HE has all these captain buffs but AP has nothing. I vote buff AP.

    Simple fix is reduce the amount of torps, make CL/CA players do their jobs. 5 DDs games are just not fun, stupid to go in close combat when you know the other guy has a DD in front of him, so you dodge his torps but now ur broadside is exposed...so yea kinda sucks to play BB now with all these gunboat torp spamming ships. Ive set my izumo as a secondary ship and just go point blank with a DD now that ap can deal decent damage to them.

    Another one who's word is worthless, cause if I do not agree with you im instantly wrong, Whole point of the thread is to see people opinions even if they do not agree with yours. If you have nothing on topic or constructive to say please leave. 40 planes = 1 ship, well in my Battleships I deal 3x that damage to other ships hence why the rewards suck. P.S The AI doesn't suck nearly as bad as you make out, maybe take off the easy mode.

    2% flat chance is not powerful enough? If i remember correctly it used to be 3% but look at the gun % for most cruisers they hover around 35% per shell...when most fire 10 shells that is 10 roles of a 100 sides dice to land on a number between 1 and 35.... Not to mention the British BBs have some insane numbers like 45-63% chance.

    I recently had this problem where my screen would not load, I had a mod pack installed so soon as i removed it clean install my game worked fine after that, those people could have those issues and not work out it is the mods causing problems. But there has been a larger number of afkers i agree. Had it in World of tanks people just afk.

    You know you keep insulting people calling them potato when you your self are breaking forum ToS...so who is the potato now? I use the midway as my example as it is the ship I have tested multiple times on the public test for my carrier tests and training room tests I use the Hard AI midways to simulate good players and I can tell you for a fact they CV AI drops better then 90% of carrier players out there. OK its plane control is derpy but when it manual drops the other AI who "potato" it drops within 1km pretty well. Sadly cant get premium ships on the Test server so i can not actively try the Graf Zeppelin only comment on my experience fighting against it. And I was in a Prinz Eugen AA built as much as you can AA build a German cruiser and still he nailed me with 50% of my HP with with DFAA running and sharply turning as much as i could. Again i use the Midway since its my only example of Carriers being OP for their Tier level. Even the AP bomb is a 100% citadel hit which means repairs can not heal that 8000-9000 damage. To ships that is a lot of their HP pool missing no longer recoverable from something they can not dodge. Dive bombers can not be dodged in a large ship unless DFAA + Fighters cause the circle to be bigger. P.S SO many carrier players use their fighters to scout and rack up spotting points then actually shoot down planes because planes yield so little rewards. This is why i run fighter deck on my Saipan cause I want to support my team in a Anti carrier role not wave my e-peen around and claim I did all the work and get best damage like most carrier players do. Carrier is a support ship, id love to see how long a Carrier lasts alone and spotted by the other ships.
