Exactly, how does a AA unit eat a full 16 inch shell...the shell would keep going into the deck and deal damage i mean sure the pen calculation for multiple layers of Armour factor in stuff like turrets and AA....i guess not. -

For those who dont know, back in world of tanks shells tended to automatically go to spots on tanks which yielded 0 damage even on a full hp tank, what im getting at is AP shells tend to want to hit the spots other AP shells have hit all ready. Unless ur seriously telling me 1 AP shell makes the whole midsection immune to damage... AP shells only leave a little whole decal who how does a full hp ship take 0 damage when its never been hit? Explain! -

Oh i see how elitist should not be aloud a keyboard, should you not be spending time looking at your win rate of something and stroking ur ego? I know what they are and if you knew what the track bug was in world of tank you would also know shells seem to have a magical tendency to hit those 0 damage spots. But do please tell us how we control our shells in flight. Also any smart cruiser player moves to a new section soon as they see fire in the section they was shooting at to give them a better chance to start another fire. -

Its not the fire that kills you, its the pure HE damage, managed to hit 4-5k HE before with 203mm cruiser guns, 1k HE spam from 152mm you think how fast they fire if each shell does 1k damage, with no auto bounce every 3-4 seconds. kinda makes u wanna just hide out of their range. Meanwhile they can dodge your shells mid flight due to a perk or just be turning due to insane rudder shift. Also what is going on with seeing this ribbon and 0 damage. Like the good old tracks bug from world of tanks. One ribbon is awarded per main battery full penetration when Detailed Ribbons and Damage Indicator is checked in settings within the game. Players must hold CTRL and hover the mouse cursor over the accumulated hit ribbons to see the current total after the immediate feedback ribbons disappear -

All they had to do was buff the dispersion not create HE spamming BBs. But when dispersion works its wonderful, 11km kill on a DD with 4 shells hitting 11k damage gotta love it. -

Because of dispersion AP at range is unreliable, gotta make those rounds that land actually deal some damage plus chance of fire helps increase damage done. -

Through an island.. Id show screenshots but well they dont work. Maybe the izumo really does just suck not just armour but the whole ship. -

50mm? Deck um wut, the front and back are 32mm the superstructure normally soaks up any shots aimed at the 50mm deck sections. -

Well that is why BBs should get back their 50mm bow sections before everyone whined about bow tanking. And yea cruisers can overmatch, called HE and IFHE on deck armour. They can also at least German cruisers can pen most of the 32mm upper plates and deal full ap damage, ive hit many tier 8 BBs for 7-8k with a volley of AP from my prinz eugen. -

Shall i list all the cruisers with insane bow armour now? Moskva - 32 mm in tiny section main belt 50mm - Only be overmatched by a Yamato Stalingrad 25 mm in tiny section main belt 50mm - Only be overmatched by a Lucky shot on the bow. Kronstatdt 25mm bow DM - 25mm with a 35mm section. Zao, Bow 25mm - upper belt 30..only Yamato can overmatch angled belt, so all other BBs must hit the tiny bow section. Ibuki Bow 25mm - upper belt 25. Hindi - 27mm with a 40mm section in front of the guns. - Cant be overmatch by any battleship at the 40mm section. Roon - same as hindi layout. British...well i didn't bother since they are Light cruisers. Henri 25mm, 30mm side upper belt. Saint louis - 25mm - think section on the top is 25mm the upper belt is 100mm. Des moines - 27mm Buffalo - 27mm Worcestar - 25 Seattle - 25 Ok dont forget shells auto bounce on angles greater then 60 degrees, so if the cruiser is sailing bow on then you must hit that tiny spot on the front with your insane dispersion, if you hit the side then bounce due to being higher then 60 degrees. Think many forget AP can ricochect. Edit: I said insane bow armours but its only the German and Russians with the extra plate bits in the front. ONLY the Moskva is immune to all BB fire from the front except Yamato. -

If a cruiser is within 5km of a BB he should be punished for being out of position not able to brawl a battleship hence why auto bounce needs to go. 2-3 cruisers should be able to match a BB, its like a DD beating a cruiser in a 1v1 no torps only guns it should not happen but its becoming that way. Found this. We are lied to max dispersion so why is max vertical spread 616m? You can miss 3 Currywursts with that all pointing length ways on... -

Uh, this might just be an izumo thing but when was last time you went up close in a BB? At 10km my shots can miss an enitre BB angled at 30 while i aim just above his bow cause i know i cant overmatch his bow armour. -

Exactly you need to hit those key citadels when on a close range brawl..sucks seeing 1k damage from a full broadside on cruisers only to have auto bounce kick on and 90% of your shots because they started to turn while ur shells were mid flight. Think removal of incoming fire is needed badly. Or only a DD skill. I get that but it really puts u off the game or any fun at all when you sit there click every 25 seconds only for all the shells to miss because the insane rudders on ships now. The game is getting more and more boring for battleships, till point wont be any then DDs will whine like babies there is no counter to the OP cruisers coming out. If a BB counters a CA....LET ME COUNTER HIM! -

I have i run i shall show you and i watch a lot of Youtubers like flamu and flambass on captain skills and builds, now i dont take AR like most due to i wanna be tanky vs fire/HE/flooding. Planning to spend last points in superintendent and either Jack of all trades or High alert. Since this is going to be a Yama captain i wanna be super tanky. I still get set on fire constantly. -

They just need to buff Battleships tankiness so they can do their job of being the tank class or role in this game soaking up all the damage and getting in close, right know they are exp pinatas. -

Well i use the Derpitz for money making tbh cause lord knows high tiers requires tons of money...I found that BBs really need a buff in light of the arms race with cruiser and the slow integration of battle cruiser with cruiser tags meaning cruiser rudder and dispersion. Yes Looking at you moskva and stalingrad... I think a HE resistance buff is needed like the torp belt reduction battleships need a HE reduction they are designed to soak damage in this game and take the fire for the cruisers and dds, but welp cant do that if ur burn to a crisp in under 10 seconds from the hail of long range super HE spam now. Its the cruisers like the Minotaur(AP i know) Hindi, Woostar, Henri, all long range high fire rate ships. Also long range shots have plunging fire to bypass the BS auto bounce 50mm russian armour. Edit: Nerf cruiser fire chance, its like salvo...fire, next hit stage 2 fire..ok gotta use rep, fire again,, stage 2 fire...its utter BS. Just found a Kitakaze who spec AFT to gain 15km range...and people wonder why BB sit at 20km range... -

Um, might want to edit ur post due to certain word looking racist. Anyways it used to be the must pick till it got nerfed or well became useless due to being out class at its tier however they never reset captains when they changed it, i noticed my old captains had this perk back from when SE was the only tier 3 pick for a BB. -

One word. Grind People switch off brains to get the epic grind done cause well this game is one big grind to the next tier, grind to have any team fun, clan battle or ranked.

I watch other you tubers and they put the line at the bottom of the ship where the water meets and get perfect shots...when i do it my shots go everywhere..and yes i have the dispersion mod on, maybe its broken? -

Stats only just updated sorry my bad. Its not just the izumo is all battleships with their really bad spread even in close range...WG said you could miss any shots at 5km and that 10km is the best range yet half my shots fly to the moon still.
