I prefer US torps because while very short ranged they tend to travel faster and have more torps like up to 5 torps per rack and a very tight spread making landing 3-4 torps easy. Sure i need to get into 5km range in my sims but once im close enough my torps will destroy any BB.

i did read it and it clearly says the DD did not explode because of its fuel tanks being very empty. Just to note the engine got hit by AP so would show AP can cause module damage. -

You ever seen the inside of ships? Its actually very cramped and small, a lot of the ship is structural so a large AP round will compromise the Strength. Not to mention you have lots of wires, pipes and all sorts running throught out the whole ship even a small DD has a lot inside its hull. Also everyone managed to forget if the AP round hits below the water line surely that would cause flooding. -

I am going off World war 2 tank rounds yes, modern rounds would not apply to this discussion. I am not saying 365mm AP rounds would instantly explode a DD, but i am saying its going to do a bit more then punch a neat little hole, its going to cause a lot of structure failure. -

People seem to think Shells are fully coated in a hardened metal when its only the cap which is made of tungsten alloys. Rest of the shell is mainly HE. And ships normally used APHE rounds. Just look at tank warfare...AP shells are designed to punch through armour then split into bits causing fragmentation, they have small amounts of HE in to start the fragmentation of metal from armour and the shell. -

The warspite is more a brawler type of ship where angling the hull works well it has considerably good armour for its tier. if you die so early then its you who is terrible. -
How many times has your carrier ran out of planes?

But a carrier avoids hits for most of the game until it is found, how is this fair? A carrier can hit another target while remaining safe while other ships must put them self in harms way in order to hit a target. So it should be fair CVs can miss because they remain safe most of the game.

Stats below 1k games are null and void and so far i have not seen anyone with 1k+ games.

On avg how many planes get shot down per attack? Answer is 1-3 depends on IJN or US squadron. They move out of the 2km max AA dps range to quick and have to much hp for AA to kill enough to defend the ship.

Even when evading you still scored a hit regardless. DDs can miss all their torps, CA and BBs can miss all their shots...a CV rarely misses, this is the problem. AA needs to make planes panic and spread the longer their in it, it also needs to kill them faster making CV captains think about losing planes rather then throwing them in and not caring. People are looking at the CV balance wrong, its AA which needs a BUFF not Cvs needing a nerf.

Anyone noticed those who are really good CV captains say they are fine and balanced....just a thought. Low tier CVs are ok its the lack of AA which is the problem. AA needs a huge buff.

But my battleship wont have a nice easy to citadel target. Aim for the smoke stack and watch how you rack up 10k+ crits.

51% is actually above avg for win rates. Right now any win rate measure below at least 1k games is pointless. -

I have seen a bot before, his guns tracked me yet he did not move nor did he fire..his secondaries opened up on my DD but i sunk him with torps. Other members of his team said he was botting and have sent in footage. -
Well i really like how it warns you about even friendly torpedoes.....when i hear Torps off our bow...i panic only to see an ally is torping behind me...

Both are clear exploits so why are you saying the planes should be allowed out of the map confines? map sides need to be alters it is a clear exploit of mechanics that many battleship users do... -
Well OP answered their own question and that fire increases ur detection range and it would if ur a big ball of fire in the ocean people will find that hard to miss.

First whine thread will be Nerf the Atago...all ready getting tons of whines in game about fighting them. But i lap up them tears as my torps slam into their ships. -
They havnt worked out you can change it, plus hydrocutistics are probally a better long term pick cause there will always be a DD. But i love easy plane kills.

Not sure this would effect any "shell dispersion" but try fire your guns in sequence, rather then all at once and do no more the guns while firing...im pretty sure its like WoT if the gun moves the aim circle gets wider.
