That's the Asia event... the EU event is different, and harder: http://i.imgur.com/5WhHEuE.jpg

If the EU and NA CM's announce with much fanfare "that we finally came to a point in which there will be semi uniformity between the EU and NA in terms of contests, prizes,...", but the results aren't there to back it up, it's the right thing to demand the equalish treatment that was promised.
-
I wholeheartedly do, but we're not there yet at all. There are steps being taken in the right direction, but the EU is still lagging behind (NA gave away Tier VIII Lo Yangs, Kutuzovs,... for forum competitions, here the best you can get is a Tier V).
-
While it's true that the CM's often take the brunt of the discontent, much would have been resolved if the EU wouldn't always get the leanest deals and least rewards in terms of contests, pricing,...
-
How would that come? Let me think... People got fed up with the extortionate bundling practices and the horrendously inflated prize, and refused to spend? You reap what you sow.

Stats for the impact of patch 0.5.3 on some of the affected ships

Stats for the Kutuzov? -
Okay... So we can, with kind regards from WG, mod the unwanted hammer & sickle flag to another flag as well... I've got an idea for that .

Alpha-flag gives 5% boost in ship- & captain experience

This is true for the RU and SEA server. Also for the EU? I don't have the flag (being beta), so I can't check. Beta does not give any reward it seems. -
POLL: Which ships are you waiting for the most?
MrFingers replied to 1MajorKoenig's topic in General Discussion
I applaud every new content that arrives, but I'm eagerly awaiting the Royal Navy (sure, Russian Cruisers are nice in terms of new content... But I feel not the slightest affiliation with it). Apart from that, the poll is a bit too biased, which is a shame, since this would've been a nice opportunity to poll the playerbase, if done correctly. Stuff I'm looking forward to is the Caroline-class cruiser. -
The Profitern will likely be the Tier V Premium.
-
A bit disappointing to see the "events" tab being used for this... How about some... I don't know... actual events instead of this half-arsed attempt at starting a hype-train? (we both know what would get a hype train started, and it's "that nation")
-
The "announcement-subforum" has been dead for ages. It was deemed too much effort to post news in there... If you want news: check the launcher... If you don't have a launcher on the computer you're visiting from: tough luck.
-
Would they be so skewed? Yeah... probably... On the other hand, I can't wait when this is posted on their facebook. The lashing they're getting for delaying the Royal Navy is real this time.

Impregnator Nikolai is also... "a bit too competitive" compared to the other Tier IV BB's (and especially compared to the other Tier IV Premium BB's, the Arkansas Beta & Ishizushi)
-
The Murmansk (USS Milwaukee) was already way stronger than the (in real life totally identical sister ships) USS Omaha & USS Marblehead from the very first day. This is the cause for many "jokes" about stalinium, Soviet-cold-tampered steel, glorious communist performance boost and etc. etc...
-
Yeah I know, but if WG decides that all those ships of the Imperial German Navy should sail the Kriegsmarine Flag, than it's my right to minimalize the Soviet character of the higher tier papers... ships. Or will they, for some mysterious reason, fly the historical correct ensign, for great patriotic pride and historical accuracy, which is much importansk!

Not a skill, but with the 0.5.3 iteration of the game, and the reduction in turret traverse via the "Expert Marksman" perk, it's quite hard to get your upgraded turrets trained onto the target, especially if it's a DD. What I found very useful is the free "downgrade" to the stock turrets. Yes, you'll go from 7.5RPM to 6RPM, but the turret traverse increases considerably, so in the end you'll end up with an effective increase, since now your back turrets aren't always swinging around trying to get on target when you manoeuvre.

Russian Cruiser line stats from Reddit...

They have BB-detection ranges, so... -
It's indeed a bit pathetic, but coming from xblade, that's understandable... A well, a good chuckle on Sunday never hurt anyone (if it weren't for the British, the USSR would have collapsed as well, since their stubbornness kept a considerable amount of the German military capacity at bay in the West... And yes, they were supplied by the USA, but weren't the USSR as well, and didn't those convoys sail back completely empty... So the US kept Russia afloat as well).

What we know about Ships: Updated 05/04/2017
MrFingers replied to mr3awsome's topic in General Discussion
Because a picture says more than thousand words, and like the saying says: "if looks could kill" Yeah, exceptions will be there, naturally... Then again, if that's the case, I expect a Tier II Royal Navy cruiser to be the Devonshire-Class, the Tier III the Cressy-class, and the Tier IV the Warrior-Class. -

10" guns would place it in BB territory.
