U mad bro? As "compensation", it gets access to 6 upgrade slots, and upgrades only tier X can get. That makes for one hell of a beastly BB. The lack of AA is "annoying", but it trains you to act proactive when enemy planes are spotted nearby, a good tactic that will become of use later on, when you play higher-tier ships... And it's not that the Wyoming shoots down enough planes to make her immune to aerial attacks... but: from a Chinese "leak", it was said the Ark.Beta would get some AA (saluting guns and some MG's). Enough for the fireworks, but nothing useful.

It was to be expected though... maybe I should rattle the gates again, after all, I've got a reputation in Paris apparently.

IIRC, ships can be restored (but only once in your active career on the EU, NA gets four clemencies per year), but captains can't.

And so another item about the differences WG-EU delivers withers and dies after the weekend, without any real prospective regarding solutions for the future, despite the obvious differences that were present this time again. We'll meet eachother back again in September for the 1 year release of the game, I assume.

Most definitely a he, the last time I checked! I've got zero problems with Ph3lan, or any of the other WG staff (or what is left of them, with the recent demise of Ectar and Brynd), and I assume they look the same at me as I do at them. I just have a habit of pointing out inconsistencies that WG-EU put out, and I have a fairly good memory regarding things that were said in the past. Combine that with me being an oldfashioned grandpa that still believes in: "when a man gives me his word, he should live up to his promise and the expectations others will have by said promise". With being such a principal old fart, it's not hard to phantom why there are staff in Paris who must think: "Oh no, not him again..." when they see me post something, because I try to add as much argumentation, numbers and facts in those posts as is possible, to make it clear why I argue, and to make it more difficult to ignore the stated facts, which results in posts like this. But that's their problem and not mine, I will keep advocating for a fair treatment of all players, regardless of which server they play on, or where they come from, whether they're casual players or hardcore grinders. And I will not stop with banging on their office doors and desks until that promise that was made on October 1st 2015 will be met in a satisfactory way for both parties. And if that means that that will rustle some feathers and jimmies with some persons along the way: so be it. TL: DR: I have zero problems with Ph3lan or any of the other staff, but I do have with unequal treatment purely based on geographic location.

Well, I think they are not... Everybody gets to enjoy an x3 event, except the EU, they get an x2 event (which happens every weekend). Or everybody gets to enjoy a considerable discount on converting free XP, except the EU. This thread has little to do with "what they get is better than what we've got" (I have no use for high-tier discounts myself, I like what the EU got better), but everything with how it's possible that 3 servers agree on giving out a special with certain items, and the EU just does completely the opposite of it. I (and by the looks of it I'm not alone with that) can't wrap my head around it why it is that the EU always has to get a different thing, which is quite often (but not always) of a lesser quality than other servers (smaller discounts, smaller number of affected ships,...),... The list grows on and on, the VIII-X repair costs did only run for 40% of the time on the EU server compared to the NA and RU...

NA now also has the 10x portslot for 7.99$. That means the EU is currently the only server on which this offer is not activated.

Oh, and before you go all giddy and "oh, the discounts on the low tier prems aren't that bad"... NA had 3 events in which you could get a Mikasa (twice) and a Tachibana for free. And those events had pretty simple requirements, it was not the grindfest GNB was.

Maybe at the 1 year anniversary of WoWS (full release) at the end of September... Maybe a lowtier Royal Navy ship, since that branch is scheduled to go live later this year.

So it's entirely coincidental that 3 servers have virtually the same promotion running at this very moment, down to the same percentages and details? Peculiar!

No Free XP/credit conversion discount? No high-tier ship discount? (hey, especially fun since the "reduced repaircost-event" also ended a week ago) Only low-tier ship discounts, which apart from the Murmansk & Texas, and to a lesser degree Marblehead & Ishizushi, have absolutely no serious use in the game. Okay, it's 50%, but 50% of nothing is still nothing. Very disappointed, to say the least! We'll see what the NA gets, and the RU... But I like ASIA's offer way more than what we've got. EDIT, this is the RU's offer: 3X XP for the first win 15% off all regular VIII-X ships same 50% discounts as the EU, on the same premium ships, but: 30% off Atlanta, Warspite & Blyskawica 15% off Atago, Tirpitz & Kutuzov 1/35 Free XP conversion (instead of the 1/25)
