Dear WG - please consider making available single type "Signal Flag" bundles in "Premium Shop" just like NA and RU!

This is at the bottom of the January announcement... Could it be?- 165 replies

Yes, but you have it WAY easier in ranked, due to the lower HP-pool

Known issue. The description isn't correct: it's 3 turrets in a single battle.

The new missions are really FUBARing the BB MM!!
MrFingers replied to OldschoolGaming_YouTube's topic in General Discussion
There’s also a mission for “Dreadnought”, hence the reluctance to die. -
The missions in the 4th and 5th part are really promoting bad gameplay. It wouldn't be so bad if one torpedo-mission from stage 5 went to stage 4 and vice versa, so it would even out the matchmaker a bit. But in this order: stale, boring and überbad play.

Having "do X damage to BB's" as easiest of the missions (all the rest require DOY or luck/skill), and then have as utensil the very same BB's leads to these results. And since the 2nd easiest mission is "earn a dreadnought", almost all of the BB's play very conservatively towards the end of the battle, in order to survive. It's not fun now to play the game, not fun at all. Anyway, I've got my 6 stars (2x dreadnought, 2x 150k damage) thanks to the KGV. But I can't say I enjoyed doing it. Stage 1-3 were way more fun. My stealth torpedo-boats have an absolute field-day though. And next week the roles will be reversed, with the torpedo-damage requirements... I can see 5 DD's per side, yolo-ing to get their hits. The North Cape campaign is a nice event, nice rewards, nicely tied to historic events, but the missions in the 4th and 5th part are really promoting bad gameplay. It wouldn't be so bad if one torpedo-mission from stage 5 went to stage 4 and vice versa. -
Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
MrFingers replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
Encountered @piet11111 (I think it was him) a few minutes ago on the enemy team. He in his T9 PA DD (Chung something), me in the HMS Flamethrower, the KGV, which I skillfully threaded between his deepwater torps. Battle went well, until our 2 Missouris decided to suicide because of a sudden rush of crap to the brain. Battle lost. -

Stacking camo's and flags is a thing! -
I found 20€ in a discarded wallet I use to house my unused cards from shops and the likes in. Bought 5 huge crates with it, since MrsFingers already bought me a substantial geuze (beer) collection, enough to keep me hydrated for the best part of 2018. 15x Type59 camo's (7.62€) 2000 Doubloons (8.09€) 15x Type59 camo's (7.62€) 30x Hydra flags (~7€*) 30x Dragon flags (~7€) Combined with the previous purchase: 15x Type59 camo's (7.62€) 15x Type59 camo's (7.62€) 30x Hydra flags (~7€*) 30x Hydra flags (~7€*) 30x Ourobouros flags (~7€*) And other sources: Santa Legion: 50x ESCL flags (+50% XP) (~1.58€**) Mutsu + 10pt commander (25€) Facebook codes 50x ZH (+50% Commander XP) (~1.58€**) 50x ZH (+50% Commander XP) (~1.58€**) 50x PP (+300% Free XP) (~2.05€**) Forum Contests (thanks Strefs, once again) 50x Z (+20% credits) (~2.05€**) 50x ZH (+50% commander XP) (~1.58€**) 50x ZH (+50% commander XP) (~1.58€**) 30x Wyvern (+50% credits) (~7€*) Money invested: 37.98€ (2x 18.99€) full undiscounted monetary "return": 116.57€. undiscounted monetary "return" from the purchased containers: 73.57€ (* using the price of the flag-bundles as offered for purchase in June 2017) (** using the NA prices on their flag bundles, because EU doesn't sell those flags as a standalone) This is what I consider a decent haul. I made a "profit", and I got items that are useful to me (everything except credit flags, I'm drowning in credits, and have no use for them, plox WG, plox fix!). The apparent frequent droprate of the Gallant got the best of me though, and lured me in buying that 2nd pack of huge containers, but it didn't drop for me. The 2000D helped me pay for it in the techtree, but I don't have a commander for it with enough points. Still have enough doubloons left to buy the Cesare if I desire... But do I want that ship? EDIT: no Frosty camo's though. I consider myself lucky with that (they're dropping from the North Cape Containers for me).
-
So, did anyone complete this challenge? If not: will it continue to run until someone does?
-
You can. It's a supercontainer then (rare roll, but it occurs).
-
customisable "presets" for flags & camo's that you can bundle yourself. So if you want to use "Powergrind", you just have to tick one box, and all the appropriate flags & camo's are mounted on the ship at once better tutorials (not needed for me, but the game has a bit of a (too) steep curve in the learning process) pencil crayons... Because I'm a 3 yo in the body of someone who is 30: make camo's adjustable in colour, so you can tweak the most hideous orange/red/yellow/purple/pink ones to more sombre colours.

50x ZH 50x PP 3x Premium Repair, 3x Premium Heal + Type5 camo 50k credits + 1000 FXP. Decent haul, I can always use extra commander/freeXP
-
Kamikaze is 4300 (4000 for the ship, 300 for the slot), or 16.43€
-
Got a large and huge container from 2 contests (thanks Strefs, once again). 50x ZH flags (always handy), 30x Wyvern flags (I'm already swimming in credits though).
-
Always the salt when getting detonated... but very likely full of glee when your lucky salvo wipes an enemy from the face of the ocean... let me tell you something: you can’t have the one without the other.
-
The SL gift containers were 2 Santa containers. Then there was an extra code on the WOWS Facebook (shipsmasdays2017) which gave 1 Santa container and 1 random container.
-
WG just gave me a bunch of free stuff for logging in inc free Premium ships etc!

Aftvent calendar event - how do you complete more missions?
MrFingers replied to Agantas's topic in General Discussion
It’s one mission per day, which runs for 24 hrs. You can’t do more than one mission per day. It’s an exercise in playing at least 15/20 days over the holidays. -
Always flags. TYL is generally not worth it, I’d rather go for the “guaranteed” rewards, steadily adding flags to the tally 12 at a time.

Frosty days with ice-cold nights, Frosty-Fir camo's, adorned with lights, Sound of heavy gunfire through the snow, That was Christmas some decades ago. Men manning the rail, tough and with pedigree, the tampions polished like an intricate filigree, The Navy really did put on one mighty show, All part of Christmas, not that long ago. Hasty footsteps trotting over the gangway, "Radar contact! Hard to starboard, right away!", Silver fishes right on track, and then a mighty blow, Tales of Christmas, a while ago. Starry nights, an empty sea, cold and blue, The old friends floating around in oily residue, Cold and alone in the freezing spray, Thinking of Christmas, as they slowly drift away. (already won 2 small containers via Strefs himself, which were directly credited to my account, not via a code). .
-
We have a family-tree, but I have my own mini-"tree". (I already won via Strefs himself a few days ago, those wasn't via a code, but were credited directly to my account)

That's a different thing, that's a "purchasers club"-thing. I meant something about a program that kept track of your activity (how many days logged in, how regular of battles,...), regardless of purchases or not. Not saying that a "Collectors Club" wouldn't be a nice thing!
