I've heard they ran in some copyright issues with some of the insignias, as they were literally copied (or copied and adjusted on a few little details) from non-creative-commons sources (like that cat), so they had to rework them.

Dear WG - please consider making available single type "Signal Flag" bundles in "Premium Shop" just like NA and RU!
MrFingers replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
@MrConway, maybe worth looking into? It might (and will) probably lure a whole lot of players into spending something when they can choose exactly what they want. I think of the players who want to boost their performance, but play too irregularly to benefit from a premium-account.- 165 replies

1. I got my 2 missions (Tier V & VI) back-to-back on Container 10 & 11, using standard containers that is 2. I had Standard Account running (as per always) 3. I got those 6 containers for completion of that Stage + Mission after a defeat in which I detonated as first ship in the battle 4. No idea

Especially since NA & ASIA used the same prize-pool, on (less than) half the population.

I like the new wakes. Could maybe "roll" a bit slower, to give the impression of the ships being large as they are (with the speed-compression, and the fast wakes, they look like scale-models)
-
NA players still get them, so I assume yes.

Or would it be because it got "farmed" and players gained quite a lot of (Free)XP from it.

Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
MrFingers replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
Encountered @xXx_Blogis_xXx in his Saipan a few hours ago on the enemy team. Both teams consisted of thoroughbred weekend-warriors, so gameplay was at an all-time low. We won tho', more by luck than by skill, and Blogis tried everything to prevent it. He ended top of the team. -

Yes, plenty of spotter plane 625k-credit modules over here -
An increased range, with the same shell-flight-time for the new max-range as for the current max range. So a slight increase in muzzle velocity, but still fairly arc-y trajectories.
-
DD's straying in your MSec-range? I actively hunt ships (especially BB's mid/end game) to get them in my "No Fun Zone".
-
To be honest: they weren't. The rewards were meagre, and the requirements were often completely bonkers. I'm glad to see they're gone, and I wish they remain as such.

Here. Three missions each, so 3+6+6+15 containers for grabs, and 3 containers from the Operation Hermes, so 33 containers in total.

Corgi-fleet (NA-event), would you be interested to have it coming to EU?
MrFingers posted a topic in General Discussion
NA currently has a new "season" of the Corgi-fleet event going on. Basically it boils down to this: Members of WG-staff, Community Contributors and volunteers from the playerbase sail around in random battles (across all tiers) in press-accounts, using the Corgi+number name. If you encounter a Corgi on the opposing team, the hunt is on. The one who sinks the Corgi is awarded a small sum of doubloons (250), a commemorative flag, a random container, and 25 of the ESCL, Z, ZH, PP, IBT (economical) flags. Other seasons it was more doubloons, or more containers. (sometimes there were small reward for the entire team the Corgi was on, if the corgi survived and that team won) That's some unique community interaction we haven't seen (yet) on the EU. Would the playerbase enjoy such an event? Ofcourse such an event has an impact on the quality of gameplay due to the wild hunt, but since the event happens in the weekend, the quality of gameplay is already compromised. And at least it's not hunting down 20 Russian ships of T8 or higher, or scoring 90k torpedo damage in a single battle. On NA, there are 250 Corgi-captains for this iteration, on 12.000 active players at any given time. For the EU, that would mean around 500/600 Corgi-captains. -
Whenever I hit 3 successive defeats, I log out, turn off the computer, (do something else), restart the computer and relog in the game.

That’s what Airbus shouts at the pilot during landing.

I got reported multiple times for pinging the map once on campfests on the J-line, followed by a “????”, or “capping wins games, you know”. System indeed needs an overhaul (for instance: plays badly impossible to give for the first 4 players in the resultroster)

2, the Tier 5 & 6 25 containers, 13 items, 12 duplicates. I will not buy a single crate!
-
Slightly off-topic, but how do you play that ship? I can't seem to gel with it as it should (decent wr, but damage is lacking, as I die quite fast).
-
"Free". While it did not require you to hand over money, it did require you to hand over quite some time and effort. So not "just log in and harvest", and thus not free.

That's some good news... I was having some weird thoughts of WG "hiding" a campaign behind a paywall. Glad to see that isn't the case! -
How many 19 points captains do you have? (February 2018)
MrFingers replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
2. A British and a German BB captain: Lion, DoY, Hood, Nelson, Warspite Bismarck, Scharnhorst, Graf Spee, König Albert -

It was high-quality feces! Of the smelly kind! Anyway, I redeemed myself the following battles with a 4 kill victory with dreadnought, confederate and fireproof.
