50 Halloween camo's... it's something.

One can see the signature for my current list of ships. For the T8's, it's because I have no interest in going to T9 for Bismarck & Richelieu. All the rest sits there for the fun-factor. Köningsberg for trolling in Co-Op (I play it like a big destroyer).

One should use the correct technical term for it: “Grand Finale”, or more correct: “Grand” Finale

Managed to get through Stage III of the Shinonononononononononononononononome campaign. Finding 200k of USSR damage was a tough one: Sorry khaba that I blapped with HE, Chapy that I nuked with AP this evening in 2 salvo's from full health, and especially the Kiev that ate 5 overpens from my NC at 21kms while in another cap: it was all for the glory of the ARP Nachi light! Off to Stage IV: 200k damage to German ships times 10 or so: luckily they are quite omnipresent.

40k... this isn't the OLD WG-EU comrade. 4k is enough ;)

No, WG has backtracked regarding clarity. Since November 2017, we could enjoy a clearly laid out monthly digest of what to expect in the coming month, down to the very details. You knew exactly what rewards you'd get for which mission, how long it would last and how many times it could be repeated. In July of 2018, WG reverted that method to a vague announcement of items that will happen that month, with the announcement of the details being posted the day before the event starts. Which is IMHO not the right way to do it. Previously players could read up on the monthly digest, see what tickled their fancy and plan accordingly to make the most out of it, now they just have to see when the moment is there, *if* there is anything... And it makes me (and not just me) play less, instead of more. Curiosity works as a motivator, but only to a certain extent.

Ouch, the trauma... (not the toilet roll, but not getting the toy train). I've asked for the best part of a decade to get a proper steam-locomotive (with detailed Walschaerts valve gear), and never got it... This tears open old wounds, dear man!

It's all about "appreciation". WG isn't a charity (we all know that), but it surely helps if you as a player/customer feels appreciated in your voluntary purchase.

I do feel kind of left-out and am distressed by such negligence from their part... It's like I don't exist for them! (this is not meant as a serious thread).

I reached R15, so that sums up Ranked for me this season. Thanks for the dozen or so matches I got to play as a T8 without getting my face kicked in by the omnipresent T10 in Randoms.

Made some progress in the Shinonome-campaign. "wreck 10 engine modules", so I went full troll-mode, and blapped everything lightly-armoured I saw with battleship-HE. Not the most competitive way, but it got the mission done.

I typed in STALINGUIDEMYSHELLS, and now I have a Stalingrad in port, a 19pt Russian commander with a huge moustache and 273.452 Juliet Charlie flags that I can't demount from aforementioned ship. I just wanted the Mikasa.

Those pre-2018 weekly missions were the other side of the spectrum, with a completion rate of 3%. That was even worse than what we have now. Only good thing about those was that you were allowed a window of time of 7 days to complete it in. Couldn't play on one day or two days: nothing is lost, just start a bit later. That is now impossible.

The September calendar is making the mill grind even harder. Only daily missions so far, and only additional rewards if you play EVERY day of the week. That's right, you are not granted a single period of rest if you want anything more than a few tidbits. Seriously wargaming, cut us some slack, will you? At this rate you're not enticing people to play; since you make the game tedious (T10 after T10, always the same happening) at a blistering rate. I see myself playing less...and less... and less...

I'm at Rank 16, so one more to go and Ranked is done for this season for me... And my T8's can go back to the killing floor called the "random battles T8 matchmaker". At least I got some enjoyment out of my NC.

Since there is a Pan-European tree coming up, and such a tree needs a flag. Why not Europa? Europa as in: "daughter of Zeus, pictured with the bull".

It's a pity it doesn't work on messages from him that get quotes by others. Those still show up.

I've had it with the T10 fetish WG displays. I was "lucky" enough I slacked big time during last ranked season (again, because of T10) that I now started at R20, so I can play some T8 ships without getting mauled to death by the brutal random T8 matchmaker. Once I hit R15, I'll leave this mode for what it is, and will continue to do so until it comes back to "normal" tiers. That clanbattles are T10 is fine by me, but at least offer some diversity by having an almost identical gamemode in another tier/tierbracket then.

So far... The 2nd anniversary was better IMHO. 5 Permacamo's for T8 instead of 1 now (yes, 2, but the Z23 already had a camo from last year). A lot will depend on what the supercontainer will bring, but so far, I'm not that impressed. Maybe it's because of previous events that were quite generous, that this now scores high on the "meh-scale", but even looking objectively at it, I would have expected more. Then again, the anniversary itself is only on September 17, so 3 weeks from now. A whole lot can happen in those weeks... I just hope WG lets their T-10 fetish for what it is, and use other gauges to determine the amount of rewards a player should get. Last year it was a SC per T10 ship owned, I hope this year it will be something different. Something like "days with us".
