IIRC, clans were matched together based on performance. So if you have a small clan, or a clan without much activity, you'd be matched against another clan which is in the same boat in terms of participation. It's not that a 5-member clan with T6 ships would be matched against a 50-member Typhoon league clan. The extention of the battle-window would remedy some of the issues you have. I couldn't participate as much as I'd wanted to to other plans in the weekend. But I could do my stars on a Friday or a Monday.

T10 was the most balanced tier there was... until the Harugumo/Wooster/Stalingrad nation attacked. Back to T8 it should go, which is the next most balanced Tier, especially when the CV's got reworked and GZ/Enterprise isn't an issue anymore.

Concealment expert to do the "tadaa: surprise" by popping up at point-blank(ish) range. Fire Prevention to prevent being burned to a crisp. The 'Spite burns... a lot!

100x November Foxtrot flags for owning the Mongqueror since today (boy, is that ship boring). Those can go to the 951 of those that I already had.

T10 =/= active or long time. Because basically every mouthbreather with more money than sense can buy himself 2/3 T8 premiums on the first day, and blunder his way, with a 44% WR, HE-spam from maximum range and premium time + camo's/signals to enough XP to convert he can just unlock a T10. Meanwhile a player that grinds the game from the bottom up, tries his best to get decent WR, damage, fragrate,... but has not reached T10 because of whatever reason (working on multiple lines, no interest in T10 because of the absolute stale & boring gameplay where everybody hides and snipes (April Fools event was a nice example of that, it gave people a taste of T10 gameplay, and I can only assume that there are quite a lot of people who must have thought "eeeew, this is not for me"...) is just left out, and has to settle for some flags. Even if that second player has more battles to his name, and has spent more time in the game. What if you're a player who today has X,945 battles? Will he get the X times 5 flags, and then 5 flags more when he reaches Y.000 before September 28th, or will that be for next year.

Crosspost from the other anniversary. While getting a T10 indeed requires effort, it does not really scale with "time spent in game". A player that doesn't have T10's is being left out for the big rewards. And while that wouldn't be so bad if it were just this, this in combination with the T10 ranked, clan-wars, "more points for higher tiers and thus more rewards" like the US Cruiser mission and the upcoming British DD missions, it's just too much with the T10-fetisj. I've arrived at a point where it is "oh, it's T10 AGAIN" A bit disappointed though (eventhough free stuff is free, and appreciated), especially since was hinted in the recent past that this year WG might do something different to gauge player participation for the anniversary event.

It’s a nice special, albeit a bit “safe and predictable”, and again that T10 focus. I would have expected/hoped on some coal/arsenal stuff using another criteria than “battles played” or “T10 ships owned”, but alas, it is what it is. If it were the other way around (SC’s per x battles played, camo’s per T10), it would have been more interesting IMHO.

I haven’t seen it.

@Crysantosdo we really get doubloons if we buy the Gallant/Warspite in the Arsenal, but already own that ship? Or is that a typo?

Yeah... that was something... He did quite alright XP-wise, but he was so kill-hungry and greedy. I probably could have nailed that Mogami as well, but it would have been too close for comfort with the enemy in such a lead.

Finally. With 2 days of premium for free (one from WoT, one from the server issues), I forced myself to power my way through that campaign and be done with it. All hail the ridiculous HE of the Lion and HE-based missions. Stage 5 especially is a total breeze. 4 battles + the final one is all it takes. And gained 100k XP on the Lion in a substantial winstreak.

Just encountered @Egoleter. He in his Colorado, me in the Lion. Battle went south very fast, but we managed to win by sheer determination and focus-fire.

It turns out I have 18 hrs of Premium account running, so it started with the server reset. I didn't buy a day of premium, nor did I achieve 5 stars in an operation, and my reward for reaching Rank16 also has been credited a while ago, so... what gives?

I was thinking the same, but no. That’s another day of premium one has to manually redeem on the user-bonuses website. I still have that day there.
