That's where you are wrong. Sovereigns can only be gathered in this update. Next week, the rewards will be halloween containers, without sovereigns (and without DD missions).

Containers opened: Stage 1: 12 regular ones. Got the Acasta in the 3rd regular container. Reinvested those sovereigns in 7 more containers. Stage 2: 14 regular ones + 1 premium. Got the Jervis in the 5th regular container, thus managed to get the T7-8 British DD missions done. Also included 1 extra container from the reddit milestone. Stage 3: 14 regular ones. Nothing (this stage gave 2 normal containers instead of 1 premium) Stage 4: 2 regular ones. Nothing so far. Still have 11 regular containers and 1 premium container to go, which will give me at least 220S for the Warspite, the surplus (36S) will be reinvested in 4 containers. I refuse to buy any sort of gamble-containers, this is not the way to monetize the game. So far, not to impressed with this event and the droprates despite being lucky and getting the Jervis relatively early. With the French I was way more lucky, getting all 4 ships, and I could do all missions retroactively.

I'm also having my doubts about the reasoning behind it... it smells indeed a bit like censorship and a way to make "critical feedback" on certain controversial articles (either by nature or content) less visible to the broad audience... An ideal solution would be to have a widget underneath the article that shows the top posts of the thread on the forums. That way it is indeed clear this is not a (not so subtle) attempt to silence critical voices.

I'm also in the camp with "one captain is enough", I don't want to to become like WoT with the multiple crews. However, what is strange is the voices. There is always 1 person saying stuff to you (the captain?). From ships spotted to guns that hit, a warning for torpedoes, the state of the battle,... it would be a nice touch to have those things voiced by different actors. So spotting of ships & torpedoes by the lookout, the hits of the guns by the gunnery officer, the state of the battle by the radio operator,... That would make you feel like you are the captain, and not some divine creature steering the ship and guiding the captain you hear all the time. It would require some more actors to do the voice acting though, but it should work.

Just had 2 back-to-back (2k & 12.5k XP): 100x NES flags 15k coal (promptly exchanged for the Yubari, because why not?) Still waiting on my first ever 50k FXP (not that useful) or first ship drop though...

I will commit sudoku with a wooden spoon if anything (outside CW) is tailored again for T10 gameplay.

5k coal is a bit... sad, especially since the rewards in flags for R8 are worth way more if you had to buy them via coal in the arsenal. Will I participate: probably for the lolz.

Given the level playing field, I kind of fear the Krasny Krym in this season. I will go for the KamiR (with 14 point commander), Texas (with 13 point commander) and Köningsberg (with 10 point commander).

Often overlooked, but it can make quite a difference! Also: playing PvP (Random, Ranked, Clan, Scenario's (which is PvE, but quite difficult)) yields more XP & credits than PvE (Co-Op).

Go to the "inventory" (click on your name on the left top corner, the inventory), and then sell all modules that are stockpiled there.

There are huge discrepancies between regions(NA can restore 20 ships per year without time limit, EU can do 1 per account within 2 months). It will be unified. Right now, you’re crap out of luck though.

I asked Sub_Octavian that in the latest Q&A on Reddit, why they chose this method instead of the “guaranteed reward” like with the British BB’s, and it is indeed to divide the playerbase over the tiers in order not to hamper the functionality of the Matchmaker. And to earn money from purchased crates (he’s honest about that).

It looks great, and eventhough it's a bit choppy on my potato-computer, it works as it should. The new bonuses, and the rework of the existing ones is also very well executed. I just miss a bit of "personalisation". Since it's a 2D image, it might be nice to add 2D ships moored/anchored, one for each clanmember, and each clanmember can choose the ship of his liking.

Islands of Ice: horrendous. Sorry, there is no other word to describe it. North: acceptable, and an improvement over what it previously was.

And what about ships that were never available in admiral-packages? Like the FXP ones?

There are new ones today. I just checked.

WoT is dying, so they have to resort to such things now in order to maintain the flow of income they have with the playerbase they have left. Also the reason why more and more OP Premium tanks are (re)appearing in the shop again. While they still have a steady influx of new players, more and more "veterans" are raising their hands in disgust and leave that rotten pile of "game" for what it is, thus the playerbase stagnates (but rejuvenates) or even declines right now. I can't see it coming to WoWS anytime soon, since WoWS is doing fairly alright (despite atrocious player retention). The "flexible premium" is not worth it if you play regularly but sparsely, as in "you play nearly every day, but only 2/3 battles at a time". It works in segments of 24hrs, and gets triggered by playing a battle.

Everything that changes the model of the ship, and everything that looks like a mentally challenged toddler drew on a piece of paper and got a "C- for effort". So: everything excluding Type1,2,5 & 6.

Boosting the AA with modules will make it go from crap to almost crap. I swapped the spotterplane for a fighter (to panic the airstrike), and that works. Apart from that: standard tanky-BB build.

I didn't really bother with this season. The constant "Tier 10 this, Tier 10 that, Tier 10 here and Tier 10 there" makes me sick of this game. I reached R13 with 3 battles in the Mongqueror, and then I got fed up with ranked entirely, and will not touch it again until it gets reworked completely.

Sitting at 265k, and steadily gaining more. I don't use flags or camo's unless it's for missions (and I have premium time running), but then again, I'm not using FXP to skip stock grinds/ships either. The FXP ships that are available don't interest me (outside of Nelson & Musashi, which I both already have), so I keep steadily piling it up.

I've unlocked Yamamoto the day before Halsey went live. Since I don't have that many high-tier ships, I find myself repeating the credit/XP tasks over and over again. With premium, camo's and flags it goes quite easily that way. The Halsey campaign is way tougher/harder than the Yamamoto one though, I don't know why.
