An event is still an event. Just give us ONE update where absolutely nothing is happening: just Co-Op, Random & Scenario. No clanwars, no ranked, no campaigns (outside of the permanent ones), no directives,... just nothing. And take the time that it frees up to address long-standing issues instead of inventing new events. Win-Win for both.

Each day I wonder how WG can wring the neck of WoWS even harder... and each day I'm surprised they find ample new ways to do so... Something went awfully wrong since a few months, it must have been they've hired/had to hire a team from WoT because that one is folding as well.

Jean Bart in Co-Op. Get between 36 & 108 points virtually guaranteed per battle, so going for the "stress" in randoms is not worth it. Also no CV's. Sole difficulty is the "use any consumable 6 times"-mission with standard consumables because of the short battles, but it can be done by spamming the MBRB & engine boost from the very first second, and repairing/healing the first fire when it happens. 500 points is just shy of an hours worth of time, which is acceptable. Jean Bart because premium ship and thus always breaking even/making a profit (why do I bother, I have 291M in the bank).

I arrived at the point where I just play Co-Op for the first container of the day 500 points for the victory campaign. No thinking, no stress, just farming bots. And when I have the 500 points, I log out. Even if I see that the container for 12.5k is within 2 battles' reach, I just don't bother After the event is over, a long break awaits me. WG does nothing in terms of incentives to reward loyal players, when you compare that to the rewards given for dormant/inactive/... accounts. Spending money is also out of the window: I'm a purely non-premium-time player, I have an abundance of everything and have too many premium ships to choose from. The events are repetitive and abusive, there is no downtime (which also makes the events look bland, since there is always something going on), the game "dictates" me what to play in order to get the most out of the event, the CV "rework", the constant T9/T10 attention for everything,...

All very interesting and correct @trident65, but it's a bit off-topic (I do agree with you that WG is making the RU contributions ridiculous). It's not about the quantity or quality though, but that Kuznetsov managed to have his ships (even if it was just a steam-launch with a gattlin gun on it) on high alert, and thus prevented them from being caught offguard. Which is something that he did.

As meagre as the Soviet surface fleet was, Kuznetsov indeed did save what little surface presence the Soviets had left by insubordination... Otherwise it would have fared as well as the Soviet Air Force on the very first day: being caught with the pants on the ankles.

Erm... it was during the first days of when there was a referral program active (with the container as reward). I do know their names, but they all seem to have abandoned WoWS already, so it's of little use I guess.

I know I invited 3 persons "back in the days". They however do not show up in my recruitment list... So it's not working it seems.

Good to see the recruitment thing now also yielding some worthwhile rewards for the recruiter as well... But if RNG crates are the way to do it?

Fluctuates around 50. People in Co-Op are a bit salty it seems when ramming is used as a tactic to kill an enemy ship (for getting points for the provision tokens).

IIRC, it's an "opt-out" thing, so any streamer that streams WoWS automatically gives twitch-drops, unless they've deselected that option. I don't know anyone that did that.

The good: chances on epic drops The meh: still the same contents in the containers: switch it up a bit. Have a variety of contents (some container more flags, some contain more credits) The bad: limited numbers. 5 containers is not a lot, one can wonder: is it worth the bandwidth to get 5 containers with predicatable contents? Sure, free stuff is free, but...

I had 26 tokens yesterday, and was on the winning team (and top 50%), yet today I'm still at 26 tokens. Bug?

So Kuznetzov is available in the Armory for tokens, and for a limited amount of time. Unlike Halsey & Yamamoto which were available in a non-time limited campaign. Will Kuznetzov get its own campaign in the future? Because what for players who can't play (enough) during 0.8.4, or aren't playing yet because they discover the game in July?

39 containers in total. Can't be bothered to grind more tokens. Container 21: Izmail Container 39: Pjotr V 2/4, but at an abysmal droprate.

Obligatory! (still, would have expected one of the WW2-era cruisers that were really famous for surface actions to come first. But WG has a thing now for T9 & 10, almost forgetting there are 8 tiers leading up to it) AT LEAST IT WAS BUILT!

And confirmed on stream. It's a DD-exclusive mode, 4 teams of 3 players, in a Post-Apocalyptic/Steampunk environment.

I, from the same clan, have little to no issues with paper designs as long as they have a footing in history (Lion for example, or Izmail, or Lyon, or Minotaur), even the occasional fictitious WG-creation if it means a line can come to a closure (Conquer-error)... What I do have issues with is having mainly paper lines filled with a lot of WG fantasies implemented with a lot of fanfare and misplaced hype at the cost of a real line of another nation. Yes, I'm looking at the Russian/Soviet lines in favour of the Italians and other European nations. I understand it has to do with access to blueprints and archives, but still...

It's going to be a "Battle-Royale" mode... it has to be, given every other major games developer has jumped on that train already.
