Don't make events as grindy as you do since a year or so + allow for some time off + don't lootbox the fck out of it + add variation instead of the directive upon directive upon directive. Then I might reconsider and participating in them again.

I don't have that many ships, and I just do them in Co-Op. A few per day. Not gonna bother with the directives (the grindy part), the Sirocco, the moghador-packs,...

I only have a master's degree, so I'm not intellectually competent enough to understand the mession requirements to begin with, let alone the event itself. It's clearly written for someone who has a PhD (or higher). On a more serious note: Benham was bad, Benham in full holiday season was bad. French DD-event appears to be bad as well, let alone in full holiday season. Probably gonna knock off the coal & tokens, and that's it. No bothering with the directives.

Someone did the math, apparently it's cheaper to just FXP to T10 instead of buying up to 30 1000D lootboxes to get the Moghador. How incredibly BAD does one have to be to come up with such requirements, that they are more punishing that having no event at all? Like: seriously? It's like they all went to the Guy Verhofstadt School of Incompetence, and then graduated cum laude.

Kléber and Moghador aren't balanced yet + how could they otherwise offer a 30k doubloon sink.

Without reading: it's going to be rather grindy there will be directives, and they are harshly time-gated. the big reward is going to be a mid-tier ship that is rather meh. there will be time-limited tokens with rather limited useful usage, apart from the "big reward" there will be tokens available in premium containers which are filled with stuff no-one really wants to bloat the price, also because regular play won't give you enough tokens for the "big reward". the tokens will ONLY be available in said containers. there will be an RNG-infested part in it where you can "win" big, but the chance of winning big is rather abysmal. a collection as a "herring" to lure people with an interest in history in. Now I'm going to read it. EDIT: rather accurate prediction. No collection, but I didn't expect the snowflake-mechanic.

With that difference that in a "free market", a consumer is free to go to whichever store he wants. Which isn't the case here. WG (artificially) makes it impossible to use Steam if you're already using WGC.

We are still waiting on someone from WG-staff to give an update on whether we're going to see Steam-percentages in these sales.

And steam users get both the regular summer sales (with the "surprise mechanik") as well as their exclusive steam-sales.

Instead of grinding Benham, I went grinding 240km's by roadbike in some of the more brutal hills Flanders had on offer, with rather stiff northern breeze blowing over treeless hills for added abuse. It did hurt and was rather uncomfortable at the pooper, but still was more enjoyable than having to grind out 2 sets of Daily Missions with just 1 day of clemency. It also caused severe burning out, but it were calories that were burned, so that's good. WG missed the ball big time with this event both in terms of duration, placement in the calendar, requirements (100 tokens for 48 missions) AND hiding the tokens in lootcrates without any other means of getting them. 0/10

@MrConway @Crysantos Still waiting on the "comparable" Steam deals you lot are going to give to the WGC-users. You know, 75% discounts, full doubloon compensations (one pack/kind/account),...

Legally: no (as it should!) There was a "workaround" though, accepting of gifts is still possible, so you can have someone else (abroad) buy it for you, then gift it to you. IIRC the Belgian Government was informed about this hack, so that loophole should also be closed right now.

You don't need to ban those bot accounts, but the accounts the referral-code links to.

2 complete sets of Daily Missions takes me just north of 1hr Co-Op action in the Jean Bart. And I'm good in that ship, and it is a monster in Co-Op. (did that for the Russian Tokens a few times)

Where are our -75% discounts like our Steam-brothers got? Where is our full doubloon compensation like our Steam-brothers got? Or is "the value subjective", per XradarX?

I know that on RU you were "leased" a Makarov if you were client with a certain mobile provider (credited to your account for free, as long as you had a subscription running with that company)

On NA, they used to give 500D per filled in Survey, on EU, we never got anything for our effort.

They don't do that anymore since a year or so. They now do "doubloon purchase "discounts"", where you get a percentage of extra doubloons upon purchasing doubloons for money. The more you buy, the more you get. But you don't get as much more (in percentage) as the techtree discounts used to go deep.

Remember the steam deals with full doubloon compensation On top!

They don't, they actively seek out Belgian players, and block it via the profile-information. If you are abroad (or use a VPN), you can't buy crates either as a player with a Belgian profile. I've tried (for crap & giggles, because lootboxes are retarded and should be outright banned worldwide) to buy crates while located in France, Holland, Switzerland & Italy, all to no avail.
