Inspired by this Reddit-thread, I was wondering if you found anything that tickled your fancy during these discounts & bundles? I've also made a poll, because I love statistics. Bugger, I forgot the question about the "techtree discounts". Ah well, not that important.

Still waiting on an explanation why the WGC-users didn't get the Steam-discounts (but vice-versa was the case). Where are the WGC-exclusive deals that were promised? @Crysantos

Apart from the NTC-fiasco: the French Collection: is it time-limited and exclusive to French Containers? Or the same as the current RU Collection (also collectible via daily containers)?

Follow the law. And no, buying via doubloons also falls "selling of lootboxes for money" (albeit indirectly).

It must have been since 2016 and the assorted shenanigans of the old WG-EU missions that I've felt sorry for the picrogram of Uranium that decayed to provide power for the electrons that powered the very computer that first post was written on. Such a waste of potential, just the same as this entire NTC/RB (same shizzle, different name) is a waste of development-resources & potential. Are you guys THAT strapped for cash, that you need to entice FXP-conversions with doubloons via this... "thing"?

I logged in, and flew 2 Co-Op matches in the Enterprise to get my 30 ship-spot missions done. I consider that a big undertaking from my side.

Already asked on reddit (though not for CB's). According to Crysantos, the codes are "linked" to the stream & the "event of the stream happening", and can only be activated during the stream. No deviation.

Not via lootboxes & "frustrating the playerbase into buying them". So: like in 2017 & 2018: with a fully-decked out Techtree, discounts on older premium ships,... That would pry away doubloons (and money) from people who are now reluctant (or refusing) to buy or spend.

It has been said by staff that "Le Terrible" will come in handy for the events in next patch: so that French commander will be a directives-only reward, and it will require Terrible for an easier grind. Nothing for Aigle though. That ship was given out for "free", and is available for "coal", so no need to reward that, according to the almighty wisdom of WG, that stipulates that throwing a bone to the community every once in a while is a Capital Sin.

And a 24/7 devotion to our lord and saviour...

a) the event was designed as such that if you miss 1 day (and thus didn't do the 48/50 daily missions), you lose out on 100 tokens (1/8th of the total price). A container only brings in 15 tokens, so you would need to have bought 7 containers to get 105 tokens. So no, it's not "just one container". That would be too logical and player-friendly, a thing which has been thrown out of the window for almost a year by now. b) if you live in a country where containers are prohibited (as they should, because they're ugly and predatory mechanics, with a sole purpose to hike up the price), you can't even catch up to begin with, because offering tokens as a standalone item is also too logical and player-friendly, a thing which has been thrown out of the window for almost a year by now. A bit sad that a player who didn't even participate in the event knows the rules better then someone who works for the company.

Those graphs are rather telling...

WG only cares about new players, novice players, virgin-players (that haven't bought anything YET) or players who have abandoned ship. Once you've been "reeled in" though , you're just a number, not worthy of even a glance, let alone some actual attention or appreciation.

I see those crates as "10 oil for the clan", nothing more, nothing less. I'm a bit like a block of soap: the harder WG wants to squeeze me (for my money), the further I slip away. One squeeze harder (update 0.8.7 with the OP French Commander), and I've slipped so far away I'm in a (low) geostatitionary orbit.

The CC's often get a stack of containers for free from WG, which they then open on stream (and there are rumours they are with increased RNG, to "show" the droprates are decent, which they aren't). They're as guilty as WG for promoting gambling. That Notser gets its panties in a twist adds more hypocrisy to the pile.

Variety. The rigid composition of "credits+consumables+flags" gets boring very fast + they add nothing of additional value to what regular XP-earned containers give. Add some twitch-exclusive-things to the mix.

No Komrad, very easy. Only one question: "does it bring in money?". If yes: investigate development, and develop at once. If no: no development needed.

It looks more appealing than the RU techtree, that's for sure!

Stop changing my default port with each and every update. I pick one for a reason, who are you to decide I need to look at another one.
