In an RTS the player selects the desired unit by left clicking on it (or left-click and drag for selecting multiple units), then gives orders to the unit by right-clicking. Right-click on terrain for ''Move to here'' and Right-click on an enemy unit for ''Attack this enemy unit''.
This use of the mouse buttons is 'programmed' deep in the RTS gamers mind. So when World of Warships RTS-like carrier gameplay messes with these (almost) universal controls the carrier gameplay becomes very frustrating for the RTS gamers. This frustration is further fueled by the discovery of the fact that this mouse-key confirguration cannot be changed in the control settings.
It is a shame that such a simple thing is allowed ruin the experience of the otherwise fun and well executed carrier gameplay.
