mtm78 in his Zao on one of the newer maps. Don't remember which one. I ate a random torp and died early in the game, we lost in the end. Don't know how mtm performed, did not check the score after that disaster

I'd say all of those are pretty important IMO. You must be flexible to adjust to the situation, have enough experience with range, guns, armor, torpedoes, try to guess what the enemy team is doing, have a bit of teamwork, and keep an eye on the minimap. I voted for: 1.) Situational Awareness, 2.) Anticipation, 3.) Tactical Awareness, since with those three you can be in the right position in the right time (we can discount good old lady luck thou). Teamwork is too unreliable in random battles in my book, and the other two are excellent to have and know, but are subject to RNG (that perfect salvo that just goes off aim and gets you killed. eating a random torp that detonates you etc.) My 2 cents. Have to be brief since I'm at work

The GK is a supersized compared to the other T10 BB's. I know it is not by much, but the thing looks like a giant compared to them. Nice thread

Well considering the Scharnhorst stats, my guess is that WG will give the Gneisenau 380mm guns. But, I haven't found any data mines about this.

Bow-forward and ,in general higher, tier gameplay, is killing my enthusiasm for the game. Agreed on the Fuso point, maybe not the best comparison. I'm still testing the ship out, and this whole approach to engagements is boring (subjective point). I'd rather sail around with max concealment, and open with full 9 guns, and then figure it out from there, then be sitting like a duck in a pond. Maybe not the best way, I admit, but I'm tired of all those BB snooze fests. The only high tier BB I found to be the exception to this rule is the Amagi, due to the placement of the guns, and its general characteristics.

Obligatory bump

This is my second tier 8 battleship, and I don't know what to say. First impressions were bad. I did not play her before the sigma buff, but damn the accuracy is bad. And I am not camping in the back with her, and sniping at +18km away. Speed is very good, as is the AA. Overall armour scheme is decent, and the ship can bounce shots. Currently getting captain points to get "Concealment Expert" as T5 skill. Would advise anyone to go full concealment build. I am sitting at 24 games and 84k average damage, which is meh, since my Fuso has the same amount of damage per game with 35 battles.

What @NoirLotus said, or they will make up ships based on some scribbles with the standard soviet traits (amazing velocity and guns, bad camo). Personally, I think there will be a Soviet BB line since WG is all about making money (well duh), and not having Russian/Soviet BB would cause an outcry on the RU server.

I just got the ship, and haven't played it prior to the nerfs, but this thing is phenomenal. Ognevoi was dull to play, but not the Kiev. No issues with the rudder, or the size of the ship for me. I'm keeping this one in my port.

Yorck... Favorite... T7 cruiser... I hate that rusty bucket of fail... Holy hell. That ships is without a saving grace.

It would be very interesting to see radar on mid tier cruisers, so all you Indy admirals don't do too well in her Shame about no models for the Hood and South Dakota (sad), or that German BB's won't have torpedoes. High survivability doesn't sound very interesting for a whole branch, but we'll see
