As far as i concerned they should let DDs like they was before. DD is menace for braindead BB captains. Anyway,with 10k players in peak time i dont see much future for this game.

Oh yes,it will die. Its not the problem to check number of players at peek times (with chunk of them bots) Exactly the same as WoWP which have majority of bots right now. Now compare that to WoT one year after release.

Game is not rigged. This game is just bad and it will die just like WoWP. I gave it a chance,paused few months in hope things will improve but nothing change really.

It was never intended to fit Scharnhorst and Gneisenau with 15 inch guns (after they enter service) It is just urban legend stated by one english writer back in sixties in one book which prove false. I have that book (among dozens of naval warfare books) and i keep it only for sentimental reasons because many things in that book are false. Feel free to provide any proof of 15 inch guns.

Scharnhorst was never due to recieve 380mm guns,that is urban legend. She was named battlecruiser but... battlecruiser was invented by Brittish admiral Fisher and his idea and moto was "speed is armor" That means,battlecruisers got BB armament with much better speed and pathetic armor. That idea was doomed. Scharnorst got BB armor,better speed with smaller guns. Thus,Scharnhorst wasnt standard battlecruiser. She was closer to BB than battlecruiser. EDIT: and why you write that she have 12 inch guns? Its 11 inch guns or 280mm.

Yep,my Shokaku is destroyed. I consider to stop playing it. Bad results after bad results. Here is the one battle one hour ago,horror.

I play all trees. Didnt play since the patch but i am pretty sure that my Shokaku will still average 100k.

OP thinks that war is won by glorious battles. I also thought that. When i was 10. One example,look at Operation Fortitude. No shell was fired. But because of Fortitude,Overlord is happen. I forsee OP know only for Overlord.

Tirpitz very existence was enough to tie Home Fleet to one spot. Kids these days think that war is only fought in actual battles. You have a lot to learn.

lol.so? Just like in battle of Coral sea. CVs wait until daytime and fight. Its not my fantasies. Naval battles of WW2 is my hobby for 30 years now.

Last great battle of BBs was battle of Nordkapp (Scharnhorst last battle). Last shiny moment of BB artillery. Even at start of war in pacific Japanese Kido Butai with six carriers as strike force was main attack force of japan initial conquers. All those ships in their escort was just there to protect them. Nothing more,just protect six carriers of Kido Butai group.

I just refer to history. Its impossible to simulate history in game like this. Who wants historically correct game and challenge can go and play WITP. (that game makes brain to boil) Side note: this game simulates correctly historical advantage of CV against anything else. In WW2 BBs was obsolete already and CV was everything. Yamato was obsolete as soon it manufactured. US BBs was in role of coastal bombardment etc... In RL WW2 if you want to strike enemy on Pacific you bring CVs. All other ships role is ONLY to protect CVs. Nothing else.

Also,at start of war Japanese A6M2 Zero was much better than any US counter part. This game put US fighters in advantage. And Japan have vastly more skilled pilots at start of war up until Midway where they lose those pilots.

Hystorically,when torpedo planes set eyes on BB that BB is gone if its dont have protection. You have noumerous examples in history. Most prominent example is battle of Kuantan where "Battys" and "Nells" (land based torpedo bombers) just decimate BB "Prince of Wales" and BC "Repulse" As soon they was spotted they was doomed. No chance to avoid. Another good example is when obsolete "Swordfish" torpedo bombers doomed Bismarck with just one lucky hit and make it stern collapse. Stern section of German ships was notoriously bad. Swordfish was slow moving biplane which gone against modern fast BBs (Bismarck can make 31,5 knots) and doom it. Historically,BB dont stand a chance without protection against torpedo bombers. Especially Japanese "Kate" was good at start of war.

Many false facts about Battle of Nordkapp (Scharnhorst last battle) Scharnhorst fought against BB Duke of York and two cruisers plus destroyers. Ofc,Scharnhorst was try to use his superior speed to evade that battle.but one (lucky) shot from Duke of York hit its boiler room and Scharnhorst speed decreased. Only then she was doomed. Biggest problem for Scharnhorst group was its bad commander (Bey) which commands only destroyers before gone to Scharnhorst. If Kummetz was in command that battle would not even occur. Bey was,on his surprise, transferred to Scharnhorst only hours before she sail. His decision to sent destroyers home because of high seas was pathetic example of his uncompetence.
