Wrong. More damage is more contribution. Simple. WR can be achieved thru sealclubing and platoons easy. DPG is metric you cannot achieve without skill.

WR depends on your team also,DPG depends only on you.. Thus,only relevant metric of quality. Dont get me wrong,after 30k battles in WoT i know that WR worth much less then DPG.

Only metric that counts in WoT and WoWS is DPG. WR not so much(personally i have 60% WR in WoT but i much more care about DPG) Maybe is hard to compare these two games because WoWS have pathetic number of players.

WR is useless metric in WoT and WoWS.

Current state of CVs,my Izumo erased two squadrons of Shokaku torpedo bombers and they didnt drop any torps. Lately i dont even bother to change course when attacked by tier lower(8) CV because AA will erase them anyway. If Izumo can erase them in seconds i wonder what would Iowa do with them. I park Shokaku in port and i wouldnt drive it.

There is different level of skill,just like in ,well,everything. Thus, deal with it.

Here is much easier to achieve high WR in platoons then in WoT. After all,its just not finished arcade shooter. Dont expect WITP level of players. BTW,did you left WITP?

Well,i manage to shoot two squadrons of Shokaku torpedo bombers which attack my Izumo,they dont even manage to launch torps. Still,attack was badly executed and he spend a lot of time to come in position for attack.

This game have much bigger problems than DD or HE. Player base is small because of that problems,except few thousands fanatics nobody care about this game.

The balance will never be good. This game is on road like war of warplanes anyway,why bother. Pathetic engine,silly arcade shooter. Nothing more sadly. 10k players at peak.

I tend to move forward with Izumo,but as soon as enemy team emerge following cruisers run and DD disperse all around and i am targeted by half of enemy team. Almost every game is like that,sometimes i get lucky and they shooting AP on my bow but most of the times sane BB captains shoot HE on me. Without cruisers i am gone. Thats why probably many BB captains stay back. Its been lot easier with Amagi to remedy that situation.
