  1. Finally Now they can up the number of kills to 50 and add another 50 Polish and Commonwealth ships on top of it. Or alternatively someone might realize this kind of missions are not exactly the best and either change the requirements for the Nachi mission or at least make the missions less frustrating in the future.

    I wouldn't be surprised if it's not (just) FXP after all. With the campaigns system coming up surely Miss must be the high tier reward ship for one of those?
  3. Actually the chance is 24 times whatever the actual detonation chance is, because the detonation can mess the game for the enemy team as well. In reality this means that if 1% of games ends in detonation for ships in general every fourth game has a detonation in it. If the det chance is 2%, every other game has someone detonating in it.

    Just a friendly reminder: we don't have confirmation that these skills are seriously being considered for implementation or if they're even actual in-development features. It's perhaps good to send a message to WG just in case they actually happen have something like this cooking, but let's not get too carried away yet.

    In the hopefully very unlikely case this skill tree is actually real I'd just like to voice my opinion on the keen intuition perk. It is an intensely horrible idea, in fact so bad that the skill itself will become pretty pointless once it has entirely removed DDs from the game. The game is already suffering somewhat from lacking tactical options on some maps, but this skill will make things so much worse.

    So far in this thread: anime ships shouldn't have camo bonuses (visibility, dispersion), because it's such an insignificant bonus that all regular ship owners would be enraged. Sounds like the anime ships should perhaps actually get the camobonuses?

    Do note that it's also possible there will be events and other means of getting FXP (like for example being able to convert regular XP from elite ships at a bad ratio for this mission only) during the Missouri madness thing. It's not necessarily just a matter of raw FXP. Well, with all likelihood it is, but one can always dream.

    To make the ship more special it gets Tomahawk and Harpoon missiles (reload is 15min so if you haven't won the game by then and the enemy has a Mo, ...), but groundings are permanent every time.

    Personally I don't have any problems playing tier 9+ and I think the mega-scale anime princess mission set we have is awesome, not to mention mr. Seagal. I also don't like the idea of getting a tier 8 ship by playing tier 6+, I actually prefer the 9+ requirement although tier 8 would be more logical. However, although personally for me our anime princess mission is better than the one on NA, I still think there really should be event unification between the servers. That's just basic fairness.

    Smashing one side as a huge single fleet is a valid tactic as long as everyone then turns back to base to butcher the remaining enemies together, instead of chasing a single DD or cruiser or trying to go for cap. Of course that never happens in reality, which makes lemming trains problematic.

    My first claim that multiple-citadel deletions need to be much better aimed than mag detonations is pretty much undeniably true as the latter can be achieved (and I have) by a single stray round from an otherwise completely missed volley. I suppose it is possible that an entire volley goes wildly off in a tight group, but that is comparatively quite unlikely. Also I specifically said that multiple citadel shots already include an uncomfortable amount of RNG. Fixing that would take a lot more game design than simply removing the one thing that makes it all much worse. Also game design is about making rules that provide exciting, fun and fair gameplay. There needs to be a balance between skill and luck to keep things interesting. Any elements that cause frustration for players need to be considered carefully and the positives need to outweigh the negatives. Telling people to suck it up and suffer quietly is a terrible advice when the design goal is to provide enjoyment for the players (which will then manifest as financial gains for WG). In a game like WoWS historical realism is a nice element and the game absolutely should strive for the feel of naval combat, but it's already so very far from realism that it can't really be used as an argument for or against any single feature. Besides, the multiple citadel and torp spread deletions are already there so we don't really need detonations for added realism. Of all the problems the game has, detonations are probably the easiest one to solve.

    First of all, 1% chance of detonation means that without flags someone gets detonated approximately every fourth game you play. Secondly, getting a number of citadels at range versus just straddling the target is an uncomfortably large amount of pure RNG and one of the things that detracts from this game. However, The main difference is that a multiple-citadel hit - despite all the RNG involved - requires an order of magnitude better aim than getting a one lucky detonating hit with similar results. Thirdly and most importantly, comparing massive RNG volleys to detonations is pointless, because they are not mutually exclusive. The hyper-RNG detonation shots happen in addition to already RNG-dependent citadel mechanics, which makes the already problematic amount of RNG even worse. So, here's my suggestion: remove detonations completely. Massive cit volleys already handle the historical aspect (you take enormous damage from hits to the magazine) and making every devastating strike result in a massive ammorack explosion would take care of the fireworks aspect.
  19. FYI, my issue with achievements not updating was solved when I logged out of the game; the website now shows all of my completed tasks, but it didn't seem to update while I was in game.

    Spotting damage is a very important stat and should perhaps be taken into account in exp and credits as well, although it might be difficult due to a few classes having massively superior spotting ability.

    Finally, I might say. One tier difference is okay, but I wouldn't even mind if the system limited divisions to a single tier. (However, the division mission isn't working.)
