    mostly because if you know how to point and click then you know the basics of a battleship. making a good run with a DD is for sure rewarding but that's because is difficult to pull off ... well after t5 that is ... but the other classes are mor eon the line of point click pray rng ... i do enjoy CAs but mostly jap ones, i feel like they have a lot more variety in term of gameplay compared to the us counterparts who just feel like smaller BBs

    on the skill ceiling and the "i almost had impact" feeling i would agree mostly on jap carriers ... US ones are just incredibly easy compared to the jap carriers you can't miss your torps even if you want to and the dive bombers, even tho everybody underestimates them, are a really powerful weapon, but it might be my impression that they are so easy because i have been playing the jap ones more lately... i just feel like US carriers are for roflstomping people while jap ones actually takes some thinking skill and preparation

    Cvs aren't necessarly weak there is just too much of a gap between us ones and jap ones and this patch WILL make it worse +1 for the picture tho, i like it Edit: actually let me rettify that, US CVs are really strong and easy to play at the moment jap ones are the frustrating ones

    you played carriers at tIV and V literally the most carrier friendly enviroment at higher tiers every cruiser will have the aa skill and bb actually have good aa plus ships start to have fighters more often because of the difference in flight decks ... you didn't even get to use carriers with a double flight deck coice (excluding stock which is always worse than the 2 choices no matter what) i really doubt you can understand everything a t7/8 carrier player has to go through by using langley bogue and houshou, you are in the carrier heaven tier

    if you read what i said i said the maneuvers for fighters are not counted and also clib ratio is not at all counted for bombers they all climb at the same ratio and dive at the same speed and warp over mountains not even close to how a carrier based bomber would perform. my point was simple how come you can talk about all carriers with extreme confidence when you used maybe 2 of them just because you played other games for a long time but you needed to spend several matches with the houshou with the stock deck (there is not actual "fighter" deck on jap carriers) to check something as obvious as the fact that us planes do win against jap ones in air combat.

    how come such a superior and experienced RTS player didn't know this just by looking at the numbers ? 2 less planes less dps and lower hp in a game where stuff like maneuverability and climb ratio of a fighter mean nothing but only dps and hp is pretty easy to understand which one of the two is going to win the action of the devs are showing that you're right ? really ? because i just saw some us CVs just getting 1000+ damage on torps on the patch notes

    we all agree that hakuryuu is OP that's why it has been given only to few players ... that doesn't mean that all CVs are just as strong

    they have that weird animation only when using automatic drop if you try to do that with manual bombing the planes will circle out of the target area and come back at a better angle

    well then i guess i'm an impossibly good player with all the torps i dodged or maybe you're just bad ,,, you are free to not believe information given by both supertesters and wg if you want mate or you could play some carriers above the first tier and try for yourself there should be no one shot kills you say ? ok nerf bbs then since they can oneshot destroyers and some cruisers

    you have never seen the "enemy aricraft" icons ? on the hud in your visual and on the map ? well i understand why you want a nerf so much and you get hit by torps ... look for a good place where they sell some situational awareness you need some of that

    i dodge torps in my bb all the time you should maybe get to play and learn the game a bit more before you jump to conclusions and hitting land is better than getting hit by a torp you are in a dd you can cover yourself in smoke as you back off from land if needed ... put some effort into trying to improve and learn the game before making a thread like this

    compared to other us ships destroyers are more difficult surely but compared to ijn destroyers they are a cakewalk they can pull huge amounts of damage just by using their fast firing guns loaded with he... same goes for us carriers a piece of cake compared to ijn ones

    most carriers were rather fast ships don't think that just because they're big they should be slow .. the are unmaneuverable tho especially after t7 where you actually have standard carriers and not light carriers

    i jst find it stupid that t8 9 and 10 carriers do as much damage per torpedo as a t5 not to mention that shoukaku also has as many torp bombers as a zuihou. While instead us gets nearly double the damage on bombs and 1000 more damage per torp with stronger planes ... if this is the direction they want to go to find the "balance" then we're fucked it will be renamed "world of american warships" when it launches

    so everybody somewhat good with carriers agree that us carriers are stronger and the only advantage jap carriers have is the on hit damage per single torped ... so you buff both us torps and bombs ? ... this team is really good at listening
