    well decisions like the past buff to us fighters and this buff to us torp damage were not only unnecessary but also nobody asked for them ... seriously who went around saying that us carriers needed more damage than jap ones their torps ?

    the entire community agrees that hakuryuu is way stronger than all the other carriers ... i whish people would stop thinking that if you do it in hakuryuu means that all carriers do that

    Cvs sinking half the enemy team ? a CV with 7 kills ? you don't even have the time to strike 7 times in a match with a carrier ... exaggerating a little bit maybe ?

    no they had low defenses if caught in a short range fight but carriers didn't have a problem hitting smaller stuff like cruisers but aiming for the escort instead of the important ships in the real war would only be a waste of bombs and torpedoes... they had escort ships to defend them mostly from air attacks actually that's why us filled their bbs with aa guns

    a destroyer is much better at it especially when it comes down to domination or sneakily capping the enemy base

    you can reduce fire chance but you can't stop the [edited] from shooting at you every 4 seconds if you can't see him ... i'ts hilarious i do it often with my farragut when i want to play a ship full of [edited]

    tbh is much more infuriating to get sunk after getting set on fire a million times by a us DD that has been shooting at you for 5 mins without getting detected than getting hit by an attack you can see coming several kms in the distance and have tools that help you reduce the damage like aa

    CVs aren't the only ones who can do such a thing ... DDs can do it and BBs can do it

    didn't we all agree that hakuryuu is op at the moment without counter ? she's not the only jap carrier stuff like colorado nc and iowa as you said are very dangerous ships to us common mortals who didn't get taihou and hakuryuu

    well +1 for the BBQ ships. but seriously speaking high tier jap DDs are not quite that easy to play the torp aim assist will do little to nothing for long range torps realy

    while azell did not have a nice attitue, that's kinda what happens when somebody comes in a forum talking like he's better and surely knows more than everybody else because he played other games while also not knowing how much gaming experience other people had. when somebody just pops out assuming he knows better than everybody else he gets passive agressive answers

    well the way carriers operated is not the way carriers operate here ... leaving out the fact that carriers had to send out scouting parties to find the targets first which you don't need in the game because the maps are smaller than my room, a carrier, or better, a group of carriers wouldn't just send out a wave of attackers and then way for them to come back, rearm and then send another one, they would cicle their planes, send out another wave at the time the first wave is supposed to be attacking the target so that when the first wave is back home the second one is striking and cicling like that, with the current damage that carriers do of course this would be gamebraking but, once again, if implemented correctly lowering the damage would turn carriers from ships that strike 3 times in a match but when they do they sink something into something with more sustained damage which could be better... i hope i chose the right wording to get my point across

    i see your point but nerfing the manual drop and buffing the auto drop could turn it into complete disaster as if it is overdone (which we've seen is easy to do when wg is around) could make the gap even bigger as good players could learn how to exploit the auto dropping ai and make it even more efficent than manual dropping turning the entire carriers gameplay into a point and click adventure with rng elements like WoT arty is ... let's be honest the reason why people hate arty in wot is not because it oneshots, it's because, when it oneshots you, you are aware that it wasn't a well planned skillful shot but just somebody clicking and RNG hating you and it's frustrating both for the guy who got hit by the arty and for the arty player that knows that none of his skill ever counts because it's too RNG heavy

    the entire game is about damage whoring really everything else is either not rewarded or rewarded very little with any class of ship
