well you can deactivate the animation for all the planes you could visualize 1 plane per squad and admire the beautiful air fights as 2 fighters stand still in front of each other floating shooting each other

taking down planes is not your job and jap dds were never great at aa in the first place even irl

with enough time even a jap dd can do it well the strong point of those ships is not aa in the first place anyway it doesn't really bother me when i play them

i don't even think we have enough carrier players in the whole server for all-carrier battles

and the solution for this is not nerfing her damage but is instead to give people a reason to play air superiority so that they can mitigate the damage coming from the carrier ... you can shoot down a carrier's planes you can't shoot down a bb's shells

that sounds weird considering that the difference in pretty huge when i do it ... if i auto drop on a BB the area where the dbs drop is actually bigger than the BB while if i manual drop is so tight that i can actually aim for specific turrets ... but is not simple at all to pull off because the dbs get locked into that attack point once they get close to the target so because the spread is so tight if the target decides to turn once they get locked then you just miss ... if i remember correctly looking at the animation of the bombers when they attack the reason why the difference is such is because in automatic dropping the db seem to drop like a medium bomber or a heavy bomber would do so they just do level bombing just fly over the target and drop which well it's just inaccurate af with dive bombers since they don't have bomb sights but when you do manual drops instead they actually dive really close to the target before dropping by i'm going by memory here because i noticed it once i might be wrong on the whole animation thing i need to check it Edit: also the dbs panic aswell under fire from ca with the skill or fighters

at high tiers dbs have pretty horrible accuracy manual dropping with dbs is a lot more efficent

do you realize that your ammo storage can be blown up by shells too right ? ... sigh just another person that instead of putting some effort into learning the game just decides to cry on the forums about everything that killed him, this is why we have the stupid 3.1.2 and the turning buffs in 3.1 and this is what is going to kill the game

i can see your point ... i still find this way to do things stupid an upgrade should give me some kind of buffs over the natural capabilites of my ship ... not something mandatory in order to have my ship work correctly in the first place

oh yeah i'm sure that if i say shima is REAALLLY difficult to understand i'm talking about shimakaze i can understand you'd have problems with her being called zekamashi since it's a direct reference to one specific thing but you gotta discuss that with the guy

if we want to get salty over how someone nicknames a ship i can make a pretty huge list on how japanese ships are missnamed and misspelled in this game

the jump between ryuujou and hiryuu is pretty big considering ryuujou uses the outdated A5m armed with nothing else but a double mg while hiryuu uses the A6m Reisen which of course has a double mg and a double 20mm cannon ... in the game is pretty much reflected hiryuu's fighters will just drop whatever ryuujou can put up in the sky ... is a pretty similar situation between t6 us cv and t7 us cv since the t6-->t7 jump transitions from the player using light carriers to standard carriers

shimashima is the only one imo that is actually good after minekaze fubuki just have a fantasy speed coming out of nowhere for some reason also i shouldn't need to pay for something that should naturally be an advantage of destroyers ... right now money is not a problem at all but how will it be once the game goes live ? right now you can buy a ship and instantly fill it with upgrades but i doubt you will be able to do that when you get to a t8 in the release version without a premium ship to farm with

they are the stealth dds and yet each time you go up one tier your concealment gets worse ?

they are on paper not too unrealistic but considering the scale that theese maps have which is just nonsensical then the turning radiuses of some battleships look more like they turn within 150m

i really want to see you adapt and make the most of it with a carrier that can't reach 30kt and gets spotted 14kms away

170k is more than double of 80k but 5.6k is not really close to double of 3.3k you need to review your math a bit

hiryuu full strike puts out 12 tbs ranger full strike puts out 12 tbs where is this insane number that only jap cvs have ?

those numbers are for sure very convincing but i kinda want to see why they were allowed to do that amount of damage on the live version, theese players are very skilled surely and can work out a way to keep on striking even when there are fighters in the sky i have no doubt but it would still mitigate the damage ... at high tier i very rarely see anybody bringing fighters and the reasons why that happens is because a lot of times you end up being the only carrier at which point bringing full fighter setup means you ar enearly useless and when you are not the only carrier shooting down planes rewards pretty poorly, all this testing is going to bring us is another nerf to the spread or the damage of torps when the real fix to lower the top tier player damage would be to give people a reason to stop them. PS: 20 torps is only half of a kitakami

so because your team didn't help you out whatever hit you should be nerfed ? so next time i get chased down by a dd and nobody from my team comes and help me out i should ask wg to nerf that class of dd ?

since when did taihou became a t10 ? anyway i would see it being strong but having a brain could seriously reduce the damage even there with maneuvers + the aa jap planes are never durable so you will drop some for sure at t9-10 as i said definitely strong but not really a destroyer of worlds once again not if the enemy is some kind of smart ... one cruiser sailing with you using the aa skil throws the whole bombing process out of the window for one
