I mean - I know my performance, I do rather well in certain ships (unless some sky cancer focusses me) and I'm very much capable of ignoring or, depending on the circumstances, laughing at.. uh, say, that submarine player that was raging that the team didn't support him when he charged into their mid. Or the one who was raging at people with hidden stats. Or the guy who chatted me up, explaining improbable sex practices because I didn't torp the enemy with my Druid. You're cheating with that sky cancer anyway! Basically, I think one needs to differentiate what "toxic" means. In my opinion it's trash talking about how crap someone is, in worst cases wishes of the player's children getting cancer or somesuch. On the other hand we also have snowflakes who believe any kind of criticism is automatically toxic because they're not being congratulated in their "special" ways to roll their face on the keyboard and lick their touchscreen to aim. This is basically a societal issue, people can't argue like adults anymore, it's just screaming louder than the adversary, never listening to reason, every argument pettyfoggery and sophistry, just for the audience, never to convince. I believe the amount of snowflakes who don't even consider their own faults far outweights the actual toxic players. It's mostly "perceived toxicity" and, who would have guessed, the worst players feel the most toxicity. Not talking about players who chat you up to talk trash after a game, yes, we all know these. Caveat: I put trash level players on ignore - that helps a lot with mental hygiene. When you watch replays, you can still see what they wrote, it's hilarious once in a while.

Or get over it and split the Battlecruisers/Heavy Cruisers into their own line, sharing one MM spot with BBs and CA. And do that to super light cruisers/gunboat DDs, where they also share one MM slot. Then mix and match the respective skills if WG is unwilling to invent new ones. Unfortunately these things tend to upset the balance and to be honest, I'm guessing the skill rework was done not the least to remove access to certain skills. Say, no more Stalingrads running fire prevention, no more Smollies abusing all the DD gun skills and so on. Also, anyone who asks for a secondaries low skill gameplay buff (literally: zero) needs to accept the fact that in turn something else needs to be nerfed. Say, main gun reload times unless the ship is underperforming.

The difference between playing against homing torps and submarine launched guided missiles is that torps on the horizontal plane can also accidentally hit someone AND you can shotgun people with it. Missiles might be faster.... it ends your suffering sooner. Win-Win.

Check if the enemy BB is really going around the island or braking. And most useful, throw them into a CVs fighter squadron.

There are no native english speakers in europe anymore (edit: oops Ireland). But don't worry, the way the pound is going, soon everyone can buy their own. On a more serious side note, I believe in geographic europe there are more native german speakers than anyone else. But not everyone is speaking german as a seconday language because reasons and it's admittedly a bit hard to learn. Basically, if you write in a language that is not english, do not expect anyone to understand you. Also, do not expect anyone to understand you if you write in english. And even if you can clearly communicate, do not expect anyone to do what you suggest, either because he might be stupid or you might be stupid. Now that I've written it, I somehow feel that the chat is overrated.
