    Not true, it makes it harder to dodge the shotgunning - if all torps would go in one row, one small dodge is enough.

    Edgar can radar trap. Not relevant for smoke mino players, but way too powerful and not only in the hands of a skilled player. Just get spotted, fall face first on the radar key and delete a DD with burst fire? If you posess enough skill to not get deleted in return, it's just too easy to massively influence the game.

    Kudos to the Leeuw who almost, almost devstruck me from full health at the beginning.... from full to 800something hp, didn't even realize he was shooting at me. The rest is a lot of dakka with adrenaline rush and I almost threw myself away to kill the bazan. carry leeuw 20221007_211831_PFSC510-Colbert_47_Sleeping_Giant.wowsreplay High on the list for shortest games is this - but that must be a quite unique combination of medals

    Basically, true. The worst potatos can still smash their face on the keyboard and up a DD. Let me try it another way: Secondaries are always going to be less of a reward than points invested in the main battery skills. Because one of these abilities is tied to player skill and the other isn't. Yes, I also run a Kurfurst with secondary build, but the main skill here is the ability to reload your main battery faster and you need to give up a lot to archieve that. I even tried that with Incomparable, for more nuking broadsiders after I sneaked in their flank - but the secondaries did literally zero damage and the investment wasn't worth it.

    We discussed this when @Ebusus asked a few weeks ago. I certainly disagree with the common sentiment, in my opinion when there are no more appealing tech tree lines, go for RB ships. Just be wary if you happen to loathe it.

    That's the lure. You're ? Never mind! Just spend some real money on ceaseless silver and you can replace skill with a tier 11 ship seven days a week! It doesn't only have more of everything, it even has a burst fire mechanic on top!

    That is literally nothing remotely unique to secondary ships. But with secondaries, you can fall face first on the keyboard on the W key and still deal damage. It needs as much skill as an afk CV to derp charge spotted submarines. Zero, to be exact. So, since everybody needs positioning, we're back to step 1, because on top of that you need aim. One gun deals damage fully automatically, the other gun only when you use it correctly. In what kind of fantasy world would anyone need to live to balance the automatic one to deal as much damage as an average player can archieve? Therefore, if you're really, really bad at aiming, you can profit from a secondary build. I won't deny that there are players who do.

    Well, now there is one more reasons for CVs not to hide in A1 or an island in that vicinity but to get close and camp behind an island. Not only are your planes much faster in action, you can also roflstomp submersible scum.

    Some people sure profit from not having to manually aim to deal damage. But as it is a low skill (literally: zero) gameplay, it can never be as good as an at least average player.

    Not apologizing this bovine excrement, but it's tier 10 CV vs tier 6 submarines. I assume the amount of HP alone makes a difference.

    Nope, this was communicated early on - as in months ago - because it would be 'toxic' otherwise. Can't say what they think Conde is in comparison. Or Annapolis... Deleting a haples DD within a radar trap with a single burst fire... well, probably the first time that they thought about the receiving end. If they now would just apply this lesson to submarines or supershit CVs

    As I mainly play tier 10, no. Tthere should be more i.e. other than me victims to the glorious equal opportunity pain and suffering WG sprinkles over us like fairy dust. I don't mind tier 9 players at all, they're just hoping to blap tier 7 in their musashi...

    Rarely had a worse team. Just look at the minimap. The two halland div just yoloed into D, the Z started the game by complaining about ... I don't know, the matchmaking, I guess? Or radars? He never got closer than this. I don't think the Vermont hit anything at all, the Yoshino made sure to stay behind the Z. For the amount of atrocious play and players, we unfortunately managed to draw this out like the hobbit films.

    Ok. Many words, zero substance. The question was: What is my counterplay?! Yes, I know I can dodge and I run colbert with engine and rudder shift - apart from some DDs, there are few more capable dancers. Yes, I know the subs weren't really competent and neither was the rest. Getting behind an island was not an option - In case you didn't realize, there were two subs. I got dark, when I got out of range eventually - but there I was useless and they were torping other people which may or may not have competence issues, so I'd rather have them torp me. Now imagine this with competent submarine players.
