Yamato is worth it, more than most ships. Vermont I got recently, I can recommend - just be careful with the positioning, you need favourable winds to relocate your float and you are quite squishy. Shells bounce, as far as I understand also from the inside. If you get penetrated and the shells bounce they can get directed toward your citadel. That is why showing Mino stern is so much worse than showing bow. Also, some ships are/were a bit buggy where you could hit the funnel for a citadel or the citadel was exposed through the armored roof because a modeller up, but that is so scarce that I don't bother remembering which.

I assume it works as follows: A program sifts for "offensive" words, such as "[edited]". Then it takes all the chat reports into account and if they get over a certain threshold, you get a chat ban. This is why carrier drivers need to be very polite at all times and also the reason you can swear in obscure languages or with intentional typos without much repercussions. Alone the fact that some players manage a very high (or a very low) win rate consistently debunks the myth of matchmaking being responsible for your own trash (or good) stats. Win rate has it's own issues, for example that it doesn't take a moving average into account or that it doesn't recognize the seal clubbers or the ships you manage to do well in as opposed to the ships you suck with - but it's an ok'ish indicator.
