    Yes, these pesky Islands jump into my way. Incidentally much less since I don't roll my face on the keyboard to steer anymore, so I can recommend that. Also, playing ships with a limited speed help, I recently aquired the spectacular Mademoiselle Marceau and it's... challenging again, all of a sudden. And one more thing... press the + key on the Keypad to increase the minimap size. Finally - if you know that your competence is exhausted maneuvering in open water - well, then don't enter islands?

    Not disagreeing here, just stating the obvious: You were ignoring the feedback on how the players feel when being on by CVs basically since forever. There is even a short thread about this: Hint: It's not the first one. But as it's only Copium - and not even good Copium - to push a wardrobe in front of the hole that is CV spotting mechanics, I don't expect this change to do anything. That probably feels good to CV mains.

    Ok, I'll try to type slower: He wants to use it for coop games. Normal standards do not apply, it's unbalanced and scary - not only playing the brain stroke inducing boring gamemode, but trying to use a ship that relies on fires in what basically is a steamroll every game. Also: https://shiptool.st/selected?s=AD610WD510&c=top&p=mb&rm=12 At 12km you're looking at 2,4s shorter flight times due to fantasy air drag values for the Forrest Dump, 7,4s instead of almost 10 seconds. That's huge. Maybe not so much when shooting at bots who only use the W key to maneuver.

    The sheer amount of gimmicks is astounding, but it's still only a squishy cruiser, the radar has a short range, it can't.. well almost... radar trap. Decent players can work around this, potatos get murdered.

    Sorry, but for coop, you need nothing of that kind. You don't even need to spend on a ship. And a firestarter/camper like both ships in question don't fare too well, because matches are over so fast. Get a Marceau instead, or even better, a Yolo Emilio, fall face first on the W key and torp a hapless bot. Torpedo reload times are on the longer side... damn, who knew coop could be this complicated. Anyone got an even better option?

    Sherman aka Forrest Dump. It's not even remotely close. Guns you can easily hit stuff with. 2/3 of your firepower running away. Burn everyone in range, melt anything with SAP. Agile enough to open water at long ranges. I even play it without concealment mod. But one has to realize it's a cruiser that takes up a DD slot, albeit one that can simply plant it's butt in a cap. One of the most important things - don't get spotted when smoking up to make blind fire on you less accurate. Which is a real danger, because of the amount of guns and fire rate, it's quote easy to do so. And you don't need to stay broadside in the smoke all the tim Also, tier 9 is the new tier 8 with supershits going on.

    Due to their power level they have a bigger impact on the outcome of an otherwise tier 10 match. And I end up with all the trash potatos trying to purchase skill. That's why you shouldn't play them.

    What I like about BBs and what I'm sorely missing with CLs and DDs is that you have time to talk trash while the shells gently float towards their target... (and before someone screams "toxic", the CV wrote "begone thotlanta" after he killed it and the Atlanta complained bitterly... we were having fun in chat)

    What's so bad about tier 10? Also, supershits are tier 11 and considering the burst fire gimmick, they're tier 11,5 at least.

    CVs (I assume you meant them) aren't that easy to play, it's just that those who have mastered these things absolutely dominate and, worst of all, even the worst potatos in CVs up the enjoyment of the game for everyone else due to permanent spotting, forcing players to turn broadside and so on. Submersible scum is similar, if everybody ignores them they can absolutely dominate. The trick is staying unspotted. That's also way harder than just falling face first on the W key and secondaries go brrrrt. So, yes, concerning the player skill required, secondaries have the lowest requirement. It doesn't go lower than zero - there is no gameplay where you get skill back.

    Yeah, WG should make it easier on the "fall face first on the W key and still deal damage" players. You have literally no clue, do you? Positioning is certainly not a skill exclusive to german secondary BBs, to the contrary, any light cruiser (aka he spammer) that can be deleted by a single lucky salvo shot by the worst potato has a much higher dependency on positioning skills (aka hide behind islands) than any BB that, at most, burn down inside a few minutes - if they don't run away to the J line.
