Afaik you do not have to stop shooting for the dual purpose guns to work on airplanes. You just get a higher AA DPM or more flak bursts if you have them.

Any def AA should get a separate slot and actually do something apart from fireworks.

Apart from the Type XXI submarines, all WWII and earlier submarines were basically submergeable torpedo boats. Just calling them boats is an english quirk. Other languages do make this distinction.

Please, I really don't mind you disagreeing, I would even love to hear your opinion. With colberts slow shells I notice very often how far off my aim is when I look at the minimap and sometimes the aim on the minimap jumps very much with just a very small movement with the mouse as you enter and leave the aim assist area. You can even use that to shoot farther than your 12.8km range when you zoom out and just use the minimap, then you can still lead your target where the binocular won't go.

But... but what will everyone else think of me? I wouldn't drive a acid green ferrari even though I was colour blind, either! On a more serious side that's exactly what I am doing. But mostly I use ships that come with decent camo right out of the box, so it's a non issue for me.

I blame the modern inability to agree to disagree, anyone with a diverging opinion must be destroyed, cancelled or ridiculed, but I really would like to know why you downvoted the very sensible suggestion if there was a real reason.

Yes, this is impolite towards your team, you could leave some of the torps for your teammates - but if too many die early, there are none left to finish the game sucessfully if only coop mains remain.

If you move your mouse over the target you see the atrocious things the inbuilt aim assist does to your aim when you watch the minimap. Especially when a target vanishes due to line of sight isues while you aim at his hull. Suddenly your reticle is far behind him without you moving the mouse one bit. I believe precision is only useful up to a certain level, then dispersion takes over. And even the most accurate ship (Tiger '59), you also need to factor in the enemy movement and the flight time, so you miss shots where the more shotgun type ships still hit stray shells. Colbert especially has another issue that you can't lead far enough with that auto aim at long ranges....
