You haven't specced into fire protection. I can tell by the pixels and the double fire in the middle of the ship. But then it's a low tier tech tree ship - I sincerely hope you don't have a 21 point captain set up for it. I can fully accept it if your argument is that you have reached an insurmountable skill barrier. But then I wonder - why do you complain in the first place? Well, yeah, that's one way to look at it - for some it is luck. Luck to find someone to carry them. -

I've lost two stars in silver by now. Once I got unlucky with three(!) unchecked ships sniping me from across the map (while I did a stupid, I tried to get into the cap before pulling the smoke). The other was being on the flank with the rear guard Asashio. You can't carry these people, they're even worse than AFKers - because AFKers don't smoke up try to torp the cruiser charging him, they at least offer reliable spotting untill they die. -

WG noticed that the DD population is way down with all that radar, supershits, supershit CVs (where the C stands for abnormal cell growth), so they released a dmg pinata. That it incidentally defecates on cruisers, so be it, there are enough supercruisers around to deserve this.

Nah, it's femminine grammatical gender, too. Maybe as a submarine? Seriously, I'm not aware of any ships which have been sunk with fantasy updates in the game. If it's a new paper ship, there would be little to disagree, WG pulls these out of nowhere like I pull on toilet paper - but at heart, Hood was an ancient battlecruiser, so nothing that would have been planned new.
