Why not coop? The amount of things to spot is the same and you can learn how to CV at the same time.... To do what with, exactly, in this context? Stab someone, just a little bit? Sorry, I don't consider coop to be a real game mode. I should have made that more clear that I meant the people do this in randoms. No, I don't mind anyone doing this in coop, that's what it is for. I personally just can't be arsed to jump through the hoops for this mission, I rather play some ranked instead...

Netherland captains have even better synergy than pan EU with added fire chance. First off, it's all the supershat on tier, apart from Hayate you can get for 2m free exp (Can't even guess what the price in coal will be - probably 600k) Azuma is probably for staying at range, farming damage and credits, not caring about winning or losing. Ägir is crap. So I'd probably choose Azuma.

More of a medium to long range spamming BB instead of a long range spamming BB, so that's new. Also the reload is more spammy, I agee.

I play Memetaur and Colbert with rudder shift, that's why I notice this... unfortunate behaviour. Lately I switched Colbert reload mod for range, just to piss on any supercruiser and BB at distances where you can avoid every shell. True, you deal much less damage, but then the game is one of psychological warfare - who dares to push into Colberts great arcing golden shower? Who wastes his time on target shooting me because juicy CL? And Memetaur is all about deleting DDs, farming damage is a secondary aspect. Concerning the pushing, yes, not wrong, especially with lighthouse Colbert without range mod you need to relocate - but you can also do this laterally, you can go support the other flank if you can't push, you don't have to charge after the enemy like a blood drunk viking berserker, spamming HE left and right, especially when dodging is hard on you.

Uh, I wouldn't say that there is no team play. It depends on your (or your teammates) ablility to read the map and or play smart. Say, pressing radar to spot the smoked up DD, no matter if you can shoot yourself or not. Push along with your teammates when it's called for. Shoot the enemy DD in a knife fight even if you might miss. Smoke up your backup cruiser, and so on. Of course you get the ocassional potato in a say, radar cruiser who goes for the 10 line right at the start, never uses the radar apart from accidentally falling face first on the keyboard and who ineffectually snipes all game while bitching about his team. Or yolo BBs crying for backup. Yeah, some people can't be helped. But that is basically what differentiates a competent player from one who isn't. You're a force multiplier if you play smart. You will never deal all the possible damage in a match, but you can influence the outcome of many engagements by playing well. This is not widely understood, especially not with the low skilled players.

Apparently I missed that. That is the use for free exp. RB ships are rebadged free exp ships with a higher cost, either in time, free exp or sanity - or some combination of the three. Also, there is a timer mechanic for the 2x bonus (bonus, my , it's at best less of a ), you can only circumvent by spending even more free exp or bucketloads of sanity. Also, you still can get decent ships for free exp until the ships go to the armory for coal. Hayate is way too expensive, but maybe I take the Azuma - yes, the new supershat on tier, but basically you only snipe from the border to farm dmg for extra cash, not for winning - what can possibly go wrong? On the other hand: If it needs to rely on allied AA or fighter support, it must be in an unspeakably sad state, because no such thing exists. It's like saying a brick needs a tiny bit of help for his first flight.

Making BBs flee has it's own merits. Then the enemy DDs can be engaged by your own cruisers with little threat.

To the contrary, everyone and their brother is pigeonholed into concealment so submersible scum doesn't spot you early and/or the AA starts shooting the second you are spotted. There even used to be a time where you could extend your AA range, using flags, but now you can't.

Well, they said it before, it wasn't a secret. Just rank out the sprint before if you need more time. Or accept the fact that you won't make it. WG is to fault for many things, but not this, in my opinion.
