Game is designed to be simplistic, the ideas are good but i personally dont think they would make any sense in this game, if you was referring to a simulator then fair enough but this is not.

Technically this is already the case in the game, all ships have a module for putting out fires and a module for repairing module damage. Try explaining what you mean in more detail because this just looks like a suggestion for something that is already implemented to me.

Topics like this have come up time and time again, and what the people posting them seem to forget is, the main reason why the MM is like that sometimes is due to the FACT, there simply isnt enough people at higher tiers to make fair matches, and that is quite simply the main reason WHY. Think yourself lucky you dont have to wait hrs for a match that is fair im pretty sure you'd also make a topic about that aswell if it was the case. WoT was the same when that first came out i remember it too well, and this is no different, it sorts itself over time when people reach higher tiers, not everyone has the time in their life, to grind high tiers at the speed you clearly have, if you can then thats up to you but dont expect the other thousand of players playing to be at the same level, so itll take aslong as it takes.The only way you can 'fix' said issue is by having more people with higher tier ships which will happen in time and until that happens the MM will be like this from time to time. Open Beta has been out for about 3 weeks? (Correct me if im wrong) im a casual player and im at tier 6 in my highest, you expect lots of tier 7+ players 3 weeks after open beta starts? Please... Would be good if people had the sense to think about this prior to posting a topic on it. Its pretty obvious why its like it is, and it was even worse in CBT when there was EVEN LESS players, now its OBT more are coming and again it takes time to reach the higher tiers. -

The overall point is its a vid for a laugh and your bringing serious stuff into it, i mean come on, have a sense of humor for once. i know most naval personnel is pretty miserable ive met enough in my own military career, but surely turn the frown upside down every now and then. -

I agree with all of your post, apart form this, None of those nerfs need to happen at all, people just need to stop tunnel vision-ing, and be more aware of the entire flow of the battle, As a DD player and one of my most successful (but not favorite, i prefer USN DD's) Minekaze player, i can tell you, most my kills are from BB or Cruisers sailing into stupid situations like around islands and therefor getting ambushed and sunk pretty fast, if i have to go out in open sea theres not alot i can do, yes i can snipe torp but if the BB's or w/e is actually aware of where i was last seen then the chances of any of those being hits is pretty small, BB can take a few hits if they are pretty healthy (obviously) Cruisers are too fast to land many 'long range torp kills' your die from long range torps if your predictable which is down to how you play. I can also tell you unless you want to earn nothing for the game, you cant stay 'invisible' all game you just cant, also as everyone knows DD's are fragile which is how they should be, they dont need a nerf. smoke was already nerfed because of all the crying about being shot or torped through it, now smoke is mostly useless, but again it comes down to sensible play, you see a smoke screen you know a DD's around so why go near it? Your asking to be sunk if you do. The more experience people gain the better they'll do and the more situations like that they'll avoid. Also there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Cleveland. CV Manual drop yes is annoying but if your sailing alone, you deserve to be sunk, all ships but atleast one ive played *cough* Arkanses Beta *cough* have AA so utilize them even the ones on on your team. Good CV players will torp from multiple angles so makes dodging hard, but you have AA and so does your team, if your constantly changing course turning, speeding up or down it makes those manual drops easy as hell to 1 predict and 2 dodge, and if the planes are hanging around too long just to try and land the torps they will die anyway or atleast suffer some losses. which means less torps for you to dodge if hes so determined to land them that time. My opinion. -

Its not op, it can be dealt with the same as any other, if your flying planes close to cruisers then thats your own fault entirely.

It doesnt matter how many things you implement in a game you cannot do anything to increase teamplay that is entirely down to the individuals and no one has any control over you as an individual.

USN Carriers have more planes PER Squad than the IJN, thats why they have more planes/squads USN have 6 Planes in a squad, IJN has 4.

Reduce successive torpedo damage after the first hit?

..... There is absolutely nothing WRONG with torpedoes they dont NEED changing in anyway shape or form if that happens you make DD's Obsolete so you might aswell change the game name to World of Battleships because at this rate thats all that will be left in the game. Whats wrong is players not dealing with them properly, that is all thats wrong, in higher tier games most people know how to deal with them through experience and therefore landing any hits with them proves quite a challenge, so why should i for example as a DD player be punished for landing any torpedo hits? Thats not fair no matter which way you slice it. If you get sunk by torps thats a problem you can deal with same as i as a main DD driver have to deal with the nerfs DD's have had already and the fact for me to even get a hit is probably going to cost me my life since im a USN DD driver. Why should i be penalized for honing my skills to sink you when you can pretty much 1 shot me out the water anyways? Why should you feel invincible? How is this fair at all? ...its not.. its that simple. -
Map seems fine to me. Lots of options to playstyle.

My take on DD's smokescreens, for what it is worth

They nerfed DD smoke screen way too much and the only reason they did was because too many people were whining about being shot/torped through said smokescreen, makes me question the sense of people nowadays. I mean seriously, if you see a smoke screen you know what the possible outcomes could be so why not stay away from it or adjust course to deal with what might happen. I main DD's are honestly i have learnt to live with the current smokescreen nerf but i dont agree with it, right now it feels pretty pointless yes it can still be useful and tbh the only time i use it is when im in trouble because its my only defense, which doesnt help much with its idk 2 second duration? (atleast thats what it feels like, and over 1min CD) but its the only option you have. -
MM is broken because there is a massive lack of players over tier 5 if your no higher than 5 you can be matched with any tier lower and should never meet anyone higher unless you just had massive bad luck on your part, once you are over tier 5 you should expect the MM to broken because like i said not many people are AT high tiers yet. Over time this will sort out on its own.

I like this idea. Not saying nerf HE too the ground like they have done DD Smokescreens. But people do also need to understand that ships are not 100% armored, and if you get hit alot on the upperdeck which you generally will at range due to the arc of the shells between the gun firing and the destination you will burn, the deck is weak.

Yes an AP salvo can do this. HOWEVER With the current Dispersion of BB Main Batteries getting a 'Well Aimed AP Salvo' is more RNG than actual good aim. So that response is not very accurate.

I will agree that BB main battery dispersion has become diabolical from CBT to OBT. Currently Cruisers are more accurate than BB's have an insane fire rate and in the long run could easily do more damage at range than a BB. Not saying BB dont hit hard, they do indeed when shots land but the dispersion of the rounds seems naf to me.

Thats because the game doesnt allow you as a division to have more than 1 carrier in it, and for good reason.
