I get the point @Execute0rder66. Guess my problem is, that I just do the opposite of @ForlornSailor That is derping around solo in randoms (mostly) and wanting relatable Buddys "where it counts". -

Its not that much about entertainment, its about having one just one player in a match who is relateable. And yea, sh*ttalking with someone who has the same (match) experience is quite fun. I guess it boils down to personal prefereces: I dont really need to grind anything and I just wont to enjoy the game and I dont think its haedonistic to say, that I want things implemented which enhance my fun/joy/experience. For me (in ranked) that would be a buddy at my side and the removal of CVs. Since WG isnt willing to give me that, I guess its their fault, when I go to torture everyone else with Enty/Lexi/FdR... well then.. -

We already had this in Sprints. Also Divisions are mirrored (the reds will have one, too) so that should balance it out. I dont see a problem here. I mean, whats the point of having a MMO if there is no MM but only O. Thats what WoWs feels to me more and more. Also I want to have fun in this game. Giving me a buddy to suffer with him thru the derpiness really helps. Lets face it: Ranked isnt really fun by design. -

Same here, but cant do it anymore. I wont take BBs.... 50 BBs waiting for a battle, other classes are all about 5ish. There is one advantage to it: Syncdropped with a buddy. Worked 3 out of 4 times and we had a nice Ochatkov - Kidd comp running (also I really dont get whats to like on that discount Smol). While were at it: Will Ranked Sprint vanish forever now? Why cant we form 2-man-Divs? Why is Silver league T9 + T10 and not only T9? -

T8+CV is shice! I havent noticed any lost star... but im only at R6. Save a Star is still present? Noticed that the Teams just derp around... not sure if its due to the not loosable star or just the general derpiness... -

I agree with you in both Points tho the first point is a no brainer and not fixable (also only partially WGs fault). The second point, yea... given the preview of the skills it will boil down to that. But: I bet we could come up with a rework that actually allows Players to have multiple meaningful builds for one ship (which dont differ by swapping only 1-2 Skills). But for that to happen powerful and no brainer Skills (like Concealment Expert) have to be removed or made extremely cheap (1 Point... unpopular opinion here I come). Then we could fill the upper Skill-Tiers with Skills that allow for diverse gameplay. I dont think its impossible and even tryhards have to try different builds and then choose the one that suits them best not the one that´s mandatory. Only "good" thing of the Rebork is, that i see an opportunity to make UU Kleber work... guess I burn RP for it. Its gonna be hilarious and/or stupid -

With smth. really stupid: I guess they lower the % of turret rotation for BBs bcs Kremlin too OP with it. No trollface here btw. I mean it! They pick a completly non-defining skill and "adjust" it, so they can say: see, we keep balanz. -

Actually, Im all in for a Skill-Rework. There is a valid Point in the Devblog: Builds are not diverse at the moment! They usually boil down to 1-2 viable builds with small deviations (i.e. BB Tanky and Meme build.. and thats it). Giving the players more diverse (and usefull) builds is a good thing! Having a Captain for different ships at the same time is also a good thing (even if its only aviable to the "Premium club")! Yet, WG being WG completely fail again with the Skill-Rebork and reducing the number valid builds (at least for BBs as it seems) even further. Not to mention "Sniper-Skill"... instead of presenting skills that buff pushing BBs . -

Well... bummer. Lets try to look at the "bright" side: Premium/Special-Ships get a huge benefit, same is true for special captains like Lütjens, Halsey etc. At least I (and i guess that includes quite a lot of other players) will be able to get 2-3 of these (special) Captains to 21 and then start the grind for the rest with Elite Cap XP (imo it is way more efficient then trying to level them by playing). So choose wisely. The "bright" side is: I can use i.e. Halsey now not only on DM and Alaska but also on Ohio, Georgia and Massa. This shaves off one captain. Also I can use him on Enty (another 19pt captain i dont need to grind). Hell, I could even use him on Black and Kidd (but I think ovetchkin is better for DDs). Conclusio: choose your "main-ship" wisely and you may be able to discard 1-2 Captains... thus easing the grind. -
And thats where you are just wrong. Its NOT the regeneration that is capped, its the number of planes! There is quite the difference!

Lend me a Saipan then, since i have none. But I guess silver CVs suffice, no? Does it matter, if your planeregen can be used to your optimum? I was just pointing out that regeneration is technically infinite. There is quite the difference between this statement and (what i belive you think I say) "You always have full Strike Squads".

Thats not the point. IMHO plane regeneration is needed to achive some kind of lowering the skillgap between good and bad players. Deplaneing was too frustrating for the for RTS-CV-Noobs, esp. since they werent dead after beeing deplaned and could just go back to port. Is the multiplier OK? IDK.... for glue-sniffers it cant be high enough... for mediocre and good players its already too high. So it depends on for which players you will balance CVs. But there is no balancing "middleground".

Technically the do regenerate on infinite. If we break it down (assuming you have at least one plane to regenerate at all times), regeneration is only a linear function a*t = p, with a beeing the specific multiplier for planes (differs from CV to CV and strike package). Like you said, we only look at the intervall of t from 0 to 20. But the function itself "converges" to infinity. That said, if WG decides to up the Match time to 25 Minutes, guess what, planes will regenerate for 25 Minutes.

Kek. You guys and your first world problems. In the German Forums there isnt even a CV Megathread. Every CV related thread gets locked rather fast or moved to Offtopic... bcs CVs have nothing to do with the game, right? The only Thread that stays open is the CV-Suggestions-Yunkyard but there are no discussions allowed. -
Yea, these 3v3 T9s are really fun. The battles are agressive and thats a breath of fresh air, since its not your random potato fiesta or the careful clanwars approach. I would be happy if WG does this 3-4 times a year, since over-usage would kill the fun.
