Sadly I have to agree. I would be REALLY suprised if anything at all would change at WG. The "vocal minority" cant influence WG at all. Especially as long as there are the ignorant whales. Is the mass-quitting useless then? At least its entertaining like in a morbid way like a traincrash.... Also, only bcs they lost their CC Patch doesnt mean they stop contributing to the community. LWM f.e. has still 2 projects she want to finish (and most likely will).

So I got the T8s today and "tested" them in Coop. To be fair there isnt much to test there, since Bots are dumb AF. They cant counter anything. A few observations: a) How do you counter subs?? Turning bow in seems to give a bit of migitation but still... the reload is insane and you cant outrun torps and ping. The only time I got coutered by a bot was due to the glitchy map design, lol. b) Subs really have a chance here to make classic Torp-focused DDs completly obsolete (that is a bad thing). They can contest caps, fight DDs and Subs and their hitratio is thanks to homing waaaaay higher. Did I mention they are pretty much immune to CV spotting, too? Why should I pick a Kagero f.e. over a U-190? c) The reduced spotting capabilities can be negated by Hydrophone... its hilarious. d) cant say if they are boring to play or if its just coop.... but I was actually bored after the first match (still did 6). e) at T8 I found the German one superior to the US one. IMHO Homing torps should be scrapped asap its stupid. Give them harder hitting Torps and do some special torps like 1. FAT-Torps runnig a zig-zag pattern in an area (you can use the airstrike-view to determine the area) 2. LuT same as 1 with spiral setting. 3. Accoustic homing: locks on the nearest target if its speed is > 1/4 speed. There ,3 easy Ideas that are actually somewhat historically accurate and are not as cancerous as this homing sh*t.

Well, to be fair, you can stealth torp fast BBs like Gneisenau if they are pushing into your torps. But IIRC the margin is about 0.5km out of your detect. Its rather unlikely to get into such situation. Best suited imo are the torps to flush out DDs out of their smoke.

There are CCs that can show some backbone and then there are some that can't. Ichase was one of those, kind but vigorous personalities. Congratz for his stance and quitting CC program. Makes me wonder if Notser will leave too.....

And ironically Podvoisky is still better suited vs BBs with its torps due to having the speed to perform good ambush/yolo plays which Okhotnik really cant. Okhotnik shines with its guns: Good vs DDs (bcs you outspot pretty much everything at that tier) and good vs CL/CA due to its insane AP. But the torps are definitely not as workable as on Podvoisky. It still stands: There are NO reasons to not give Okhotnik DCs. Besides: Podvoisky will again still be better suited vs Subs due to its speed.

Pfff. Do you even have Okhotnik? It cant stealth Torp! You are totally missing the point here: Okhotnik takes a DD slot. In theory it could be the only DD on a teams side (or build a 2x/3x Okhotnik div.) Having no ASW gives the opponent an insane advantage. Sorry but what you are telling here is complete BS.

Eendracht. Ein nicht besonders tolles Schiff, dessen Airstrike range um 1km verkürzt wurde aus Gründen..... Spaß beiseite: Es gibt zum Glück keine Verlierer da die Subs ja zum Glück nur getestet werden, wenn du das meinst.

Dürfte nicht der Fall sein, da WOWS und WOT über die Gleichen laufen und irgendein meshing benutzen. Serverleistung und Größe ließen sich einfach erhöhen, daher glaub ich nicht, dass es daran liegt. Bigworld Engine ist recht alt und gehört WG... da sind die Chancen eher schlecht, dass die groß weiterentwickelt wird.... sie ist ja "ausreichend um die Basisfunktionen zu gewährleisten".
