Well, Kii is more or less an Amagi, not bad but you dont miss out much if you have Amagi. In the end I prefer Amagi over Kii. Roma is an odd ship... her guns are wonky and not reliable at all (it was a blast to play when there was Deadeye tho). The problem is her guns pen so hard that beeing toptier is usually bad for her since then its overpen-city, What makes the ship great is, when its lowtier, since it actually can pen stuff then and you get better results. Its funny how everybody is complaining when they are lowtier.... in Roma you´ll love it. Also, Roma has no SAP but regular AP since she is an old premium (Pre-ITA-BB-release). Which lets her deal better with DDs. Conclusion: Roma can be frustrating AF when hightier but spectacular when lowtier. Kii is just an Amagi clone. -> Take Roma since she has unique traits, Kii hasnt (except torps).

Was able to beg the boys to play ONE evening of CB this season. We needed still 3 Mercs to help out tho... I read the posts on our Discord... no motivation especially not with 2xCV and T6.

Better Concealment, too!

Those old maps (especially shards) had also the problem that some BBs got stuck at those Island corners from which they had no inflence on the battle. Like it still is today with Northern Lights. Still I would prefer those old designs. Main reason is: Islands o´ Ice, Shards, Trap, CrashZone play pretty similar with the same drawn out routes. Would be interesting to see an Heatmap overlay to compare the routes... I wouldnt be suprised if they are more or less identical.

I have Napoli and Marceau. Played about 3 Battles in Napoli and didnt like it. Would prefer Siegfried or Yoshino over it any time.... it was a waste of coal in my eyes. Marceau on the other hand... its a beast and a fun one, too. Ever created a hunter-killer div with 2 Maceaus? Thats just nasty!

I looked it up. I had 1500 Dubs to spare from Ranked. But since there was no Misery... well there wont be one for me then. And since I dont see any historical value (for me) in that ship, I have no problems to skip it.

Hindenburg ist immer noch einer der stärksten Kreuzer auf T10. WG hat - im Gegensatz zur Zao - die Hindenburg nicht vergessen.

Überleg ob ich diese Saison nicht auf Gold aufsteigen soll und dort nur die Belohnungen für die Siege abfarme.... Die paar Siege in Gold scheinen entspannter zu sein, als in Silber R1 zu machen. Liegt nicht nur an den Subs, sondern auch daran, dass ich die geraden Tierstufen eher uninteressant finde.

Yes, I do know that Subs will crowbared into the game whatever the cost. But at least "fk it, we want money" would have been a honest and at this point more understandable/less infuriating answer.

The situation is even worse in CB and Ranked. There is no rotation at all. Basically its always Islands of Ice.

LOL! Meanwhile we have a poll with 90% of the PPL are NOT enjoying subs in Ranked. Only logical explanation: That stream was from an alternate reality... or maybe its developed in one?

The last Seasons I ranked out all Sprints in Silver. For me T9 is my beloved Tier. Since its only even Tiers this season I wonder, is it worth going gold? Is gold just yolo-game-spam? T8 is fun and all, but I feel a bit limited in terms of viable ships. I dont have the intention to rank out, I just want the rewards and 26 wins seems reasonable... did I miss something?

Last Ranked Season I decided to "git gud" in Morgador. It actually helps me now while doing a REEEE-Grind.

IF I can be arsed to grind the NL-CA and IF I get enough Steel for Ragnar (5.5k short) I´ll have 50 SCs to open.

Gestern ging mal gar nix.... Tatsächlich habe ich nach ein paar Runden in Kii und NorCa festgestellt, dass es wesentlich einfacher, kompfortabler und ungefährlicher ist, die Subs mit den ASW der BBs zu bekämpfen. Als DD ist es meist zu viel Risk für zu wenig Reward. BBs (mit ASW) haben es da echt gut! Es ist eine sagenhaft dumme Idee von WG Subs in Ranked zu testen... ganz unabhängig jetzt davon ob die Teile OP/UP sind oder nicht. Das Problem ist, es ist eine ganz neue Klasse, die man nicht mal sinnig lernen und testen kann, da Coop komplett ungeeignet ist, irgend etwas anderes als die Steuerung zu lernen. In Ranked stell ich fest, dass die meisten Subs komplett nutzlos sind, insbesondere da viel Spieler einfach 0 Erfahrung mit den Teilen haben (wie auch). Das dämliche Schiffsroulette ob man ein Sub auf seiner Stufe fahren darf oder nicht, ist da auch nicht hilfreich und wer tut sich die Teile schon 48 Stunden am Stück an.... nur um dann wieder ne Woche warten zu dürfen. Wie soll man denn auch so die Klasse irgendwie sinnig lernen?! Insofern kann man Sie fast schon immer als Totalausfall abschreiben (ist ja noch schlimmer als Leute mit ner Z-31). Und dann fehlt halt meist gleich zu Beginn ein Teammate... oder er ist unvorsichtig und platzt gleich, was dem Gegner erstmal schön einen Punkevorsprung zuschanzt, welcher in Ranked schwerwiegender ist als in Randoof. Ebenfalls sind die Mechaniken alle ein bisschen unklar: Welche Strecke muss ein Torp zurücklegen um eine Tiefenstufe höher zu steigen? Wieso ist die UI nicht entsprechend angepasst und zeigt ob das gegnerische Schiff mit den Torps überhaupt treffbar ist? Wieso sehe ich auf Tiefe 3 nicht, wie die Feuerwinkel sind? Die Kartenanpassung ist auch teilweise großer Murks, gerade auch mit Subs bleibt man gerne mal hier und da hängen aufgrund der binären Tiefeneinstellungen. Oh und die Ping-Mechanik ist auch der größte Murks (unabhängig von homing oder nicht)... es ist einfach langweilig und unbefriedigend sein Blubberbläschen auf Gegnerschiffe zu schießen. Abschließend: Die beste Iteration der Subs war immer noch im Halloween Mode: 1. Da gegen genügend Bots. 2. Da klare und verständliche Mechaniken... Insbesondere das Managen des Sauerstoffs war wesentlich Interessanter und bedurfte timing/skill.

Wenn nur noch Indomitable erlaubt ist, macht der neue BB-Feuer-Skill wenigstens Sinn....
