oh heavens no how dare you say such thing about EU! do you not know the past!!? You are probably right -
you cant compare average stats of russian cruisers to other cruisers since russian ones havent been around for too long(so more better players). Compare the top %10 players' stats then you will see they arent as OP as you think.

And yours arent biased conclusions? Excuse me but do what i asked. Give me a screenshot of your battle played today or yesterday at wows' peek time where your team has more than 5 DDs each side at mid tier. Its the only way you can disprove what i said. -
They need to explain overpen better. Overpen, if i dont remember it wrong, happens when ship's armour isnt as strong as it should be to trigger AP shell to explode. But the AP shell still has ability to penetrate through inside a ship. A simple pen would be shell exploding inside the ship.

Stop right there. Is there or is there not a 5 limit to DDs? Yes? Because thats how it started. I said they added 5 dd limit to the game and others aked me to show proof. If there is actually 5 dd limit in the game at the moment then there is no reason to call me names or throw facepalms at me. No matter what i do you people will try to call me out. IF i would add 300 battles of pictures. Then you would say " eheheheh 300 battles isnt the whole game eheheheh" Then i ask you to bring a proof of teams with more than 5 DDs at mid tiers during peek times(7-11 CET) that you played today or yesterday because at other times there is a high chance of MM ignoring rules Edit: I find that Q&A explanation as a confirmation. -

admit mistake? Them saying "think" doesnt mean its not in game. When i play with my ships for some reason i see max 5 DDs. So when you use your brain it makes sense that the max amount is 5 because i havent see any more than 5 at mid tiers. At high tiers? Possibly more than 5 because its populated with a lot of DDs and MM has an ability to ignore some rules -

i dont want to repeat myself. But these guys are game developers. They are the ones behind scenes. They arent STs or players. When they say thats what they think it means thats what they implemented in the game. But that doesnt mean MM will have strict rules on any class except maybe carriers. Rules as you all know do get ignored after sometime -
no its not something new. Modules have seperated HP from ships they soak up damage. Also there is the case, if a ship's part is damaged too much it may or may not give any damage at all.

There is a hardcap but MM doesnt have strict rules. If it passes good enough time the rules will drop. Edit: Besides its a translation. They are the ones making game not somebody else. Writing "we think" means it is in game -

guys there explained it very well in the comment section Duncan Railton From my knowledge of the armour model I think I can explain your experience with the Cleveland, and there are 2 things at work... First, those 3 hits overpenned (something) then I believe penetrated another part of the ship model (often seems to happen at range as the shell goes through the superstructure then into the hull). THis would give you 3x overpens AND 3x pens - which ought to give you around 14800 damage? Anyway, it still doesn't = 14706. However i've also noticed its possible to do 0 damage penetrations. This is due to you hitting a module which was saturated already. In this example it looks like at least one of the penetrations didn't do full damage because of damage saturation - hence 14706... Now, if this is indeed the case, the ribbons (overpens etc) are not helping. They are only showing the first thing the shell did. THey should at least show the BEST result. Secondly noone understands the damage mechanics and it needs explaining. I'm an EU ST for WoWs so I'll raise this internally to see if I can 1-confirm this and 2-get an explanation "out there"... Are you happy for me to ref. your video? Jonas Drøjdahl section depletion, for the first step, happens rather fast, especially on a smaller ship like a Cleveland. But yes, it is a matter of the overpens having another hit. The non-damage pens is a more tricky proposition. On EU some crafty people discovered that the sound effects are server side, while hit ribbons are client side. So if you get a pen ribbon, but hear the distinctive pling of an overpen, then it means you got an overpen or ricochet. If the sound is correct, then it is possible you hit a turret or torpedo launcher but didn't damage it enough for incapacitation. So penetration hit, but no damage as the modules have their own HP. What should the game do in that scenario? It is clearly a pen, but also it doesn't do damage. Personally I think there should be a hit marker (like the pen, non-pen, overpen and ricochet) for hitting a module but not knocking it out. That should help a lot with solving when it is an issue and when it is just the game working as intended.

Well considering you did 64k damage to tier 9 and 55k damage to tiers below tier 9 i say this shouldnt suprise you. But you are correct about tanking. They will be bringing it in 0.5.10(if i m not wrong) Daily reminder: doing damage to tiers below give less credit and exp than tiers same or above you
