Since you arent a good player you deserve to be among the "noobs" dont you? Being at 19th rank sounds to me more like its your fault. People should really need to learn to look for mistake on their part first. Check your side if you are clean then you can defend your words bravely. %80 of average players blame "noobs" seriously guys. This is wows. Even the dumbest way can lead to victory if you work as a team.

have you played war thunder? the ships in WoWs is highly modelled. Its not like WoT where a cupola worths same with an [edited]shot.

I never said destroyers were the dominant surface warships. But i can easily say torpedoes were the best weapon in WW2. No not those pittyfull canons BBs had. Oh also battleships werent dominant surface warships at WW2. They were mostly land attack ships. The most dominant surface warships in WW2 was CAs at start and CVs at the end. Battleships were just lacking too much fighting power. They were slow they needed too much help and they were too expensive. At the start people were afraid of battleships because of their size. But then they learned bigger the size harder it hits the ground. I will say this again the dominance in WW2 for naval battles was in hands of CAs first and then it passed on to CVs. The dominant side in a battle is never the sluggish side.

No, cruisers dont have it under their turrets. All ships have their boilers as citadels. Every single ship in game has its boiler as citadel. "Turrets" thing is just a mind trick. You can test it in the training room(if it is still available). I am confident about this because i had similar discussion before where a guy was able to test it and gave positive feedback.

I dont think you can find much. But all i can help you with is that cleveland has seperated boilers(citadel) and the front boiler is not directly under chimney. Oh btw most of the ships have their boilers(citadel) under their chimney. So if you hit ships at waterline under their chimney part you can score citadel hits

I m not even gonig to read anything. I am answering to that video directly. You see the battleship captain did a bad move. And you shouldnt be rewarded when you do a bad move. You dont say "this DD will not launch torpedoes at me" the second you think like this or think like "i m safe here even though there are DDs in enemy team" you are dead. Its like "yeah i see a wolf but surely this wolf wouldnt attack me!" . Its your fault if you get hit by a ship launched torpedo. No matter what. You got ambushed? Its your fault. There is no battleship in real life that could take a 500kg explosive and survive. There is no battleship in real life that could magically heal itself in the middle of ocean. There is no battleship in real life that could repair sinking from a 500kg explosive made hole. I was in these kinds of discussions before. I did my research before there are ships who survived 200kg explosive torps and kept fighting for a short time but there is no record for ships who survived 500kg explosive and kept fighting. Oh also in real life IJN torps wouldnt be duds or bounces. IJN had a really interesting type of torpedo design. In real life torps like long lance had 40km range with impossible to spot no-buble-trail -leaving engine. One of the USN cruiser was hit at harbour by a torpedo launched from 20-30km away. USN thought it was a submarine and did a search on area. Battleships were only powerfull at land attacks. Oh also USN created 38 battleships and 530 destroyers in whole battle. The only navy that didnt create a lot of DDs is KM and they made a lot of submarines. DDs arent overpwerforming BBs arent underperforming.

I can show you people with 2k+ battles and really bad stats. Really bad players with thousands of battles. so no tier restriction isnt going to stop that Any newbie doesnt hurt the teams much. I would prefer to have one noob tirpitz than 1 CV. You do know the power a CV can have right? It hasnt been too much since 4.1 update. You do remember the 1vs0 battles right?

How can NC penetrate an angled NM? New mexico has 343mm belt armour+89mm citadel armour. Taht kind of armour cant be penetrated by 410mm shells if it is angled. I doubt NM will have much problem penetrating NC because north carolina has 300mm belt armour i dont know about the citadel part but i doubt its much

i m not rooting for WG here. I just dont think it is a big problem. It cant get fixed until there are more people playing this game. Also you arent giving much information either. At times where there arent much players MM is gets forced to make matches like this which isnt suprisable.

I vote on "they need to be played vastly diffrent" and "old low tiers are a bit powerfull". You cant expect a balanced line to have ships like umikaze. And SN low tier line isnt sucking compared to USN line

Nah i doubt that. MM even like this shouldnt be a big problem. Tier diffrence isnt that big. Its insane for MM to match VK3601Hs to tiger IIs but it isnt so insane to match NM to NC. Still this MM shouldnt happen often. How many people were on server?

see thats the problem. Those winrates arent going to go down for a while. Because tier 2 one has 51% (20k owners) tier 3 one has 51% (7k owners) tier 4 one has 50.5% (1.5k owners) tier 5 one has 54% (560 owners) Also i dont think kiev will lose much win rate or anything because kiev has more average damage(31k) and more winrate(58%) than tashkent(29k 50.5%). So it is kind of obvious that kiev is a bit more powerfull than tashkent at a tier comparison. You would think tashkent would have better stats since people who own tashkent also owned kiev more or less. Edit: Just want to point out the only 50%+ winrate IJNDDs are umikaze and minekaze which umikaze is confirmed to be borderless OP

its not possible for bad players to win 3 times in a row per rank. They suck and at that rank people arent that bad. So a bad player is a big burden. If you know a guy that you saw in ranked battles with 10- rank PM me his name and i will look into his normal stats.

So you as a cruiser player with nearly no proper DD battles shouldnt be able to play DDs succesfully. And yet you are as good as an average minekaze captain in your gnevny. What does that tell you?

No, not to rank 10 or 8 there is a block until 15 or 20 which they dont lose any star and after that block gets lifted you have to win 3 times in a row which is impossible if you are a bad player
