furutaco and aoba arent CL but anyways you cant basically calculate the dispersion at 10km due to the aim ellipse. Max dispersion value is a circle but below max dispersion/range your aim is elllipse which numbers dont mean much unless you want to spend days on it still nice thing to see

they cant hit that below the waterline. There is a limit for submerged hits. My god why do you guys not look at the photos? Magazines dont count as citadel. As the wiki photo says citadels and magazines are seperated. Offical in game modelling+offical wiki says that magazine IS NOT considered as citadel for cruisers. Yes battleships do have citadel plating under their turrets. You can just jump on your ship go park next to a cruiser parallel and try to citadel that cruiser from front turrets. It will not work. I am saying this again so it can be clear The guide there shows battleship citadel compartment. Which is also confirmed in game's model. Battleships have waterline citadel even under their turrets Armour modelling of NY in game you can pick 89mm one to see the citadel.(http://gamemodels3d.com/worldofwarships/vehicles/pasb006) BUT cruisers dont have citadel under their turrets in a place where you can hit it. As i showed in furutaco armor modelling(http://gamemodels3d.com/worldofwarships/vehicles/pjsc005) or even in Aoba(http://gamemodels3d.com/worldofwarships/vehicles/pjsc007) The citadel part on these cruisers under turrets do not exist

WoT dan farkı yok. Adamlar bedavaya oyun yapamazlar biliyorsunuz. -
well it probably would be a big suprise for you that DDs werent torpedo boats. They were Torpedo boat destroyers. Then they put torpedoes on destroyers and now rockets so not a big change
-
could it be your graphic card failing? This game requires a better computer than wot so maybe....
-
actually there are cruisers and destroyers in service. After WW2 destroyers and carriers gained power. While cruisers didnt advance much they are still in service to protect carriers. Destroyers on the other hand can be used for a lot of thing. No destroyers certainly didnt go waste
-
RN isnt a good comparison here reasons -RN didnt encounter any kind of good DD and CV in WW2. -RN isnt even in game yet

The next photo i will be sharing is from world of warships wiki gunnery & armor penetration There is no citadel under the turrets. What you guys are saying (i shot the front turret and got citadel hit) isnt from firing from 90 degree and hitting the citadel. You fired from an angle which in game modelling has a system to not just calculate the part shell hit. The shell hits the front bow and it bounces towards citadel or the shell hits front bow and goes into citadel in a straight line. But there is no citadel under the front guns. This isnt like wot modelling. http://gamemodels3d.com/worldofwarships/vehicles/pjsc007 Here is a link you can check out Aoba's citadel. Yes there is an armour plating that covers citadel under turrets but thats not a place where you can hit citadel because it is well under the waterline. This is furutaco As you can see the yellow colouring made for citadel. The middle part is higher than the other 2 parts. Middle part is next to the waterline

its hard to set them on fire with DD guns

Hayır istemiyor. Eğitimini değiştirmediğiniz için kendi gemisine geri döndüğünde tekrar eğitim gerekmiyor.

I do exaggrate when i m in discussions heated like this. But its nice to see people agreeing

Because reasons..... I never even tried to understand this situation i skip attacking those awake CV captains

my god the ignorance level over 9000 on this one Unlike you i can prove my words. No you didnt citadel cleveland on the front turret waterline your shot came in an angle that leads into boilers(citadel) Here is my backup for the words i said over cleveland's citadel enjoy being disproven dont hide your head in sand with shame though And i am saying this again. Your shots that citadel the enemy cruiser from front turret water line does not make the citadel under the front turrets. People who claims this thinks that WoWs and WoT has same details in doing damage.

suggestion: non-team players in ranked battles

Unfortunetly noodle people dont understand even if you talk to them in their shoes. -
Cant directly quote from sharana because i m too lazy to find these threads -RU dev stream they said there will not be the same captain training system with WoT however they are planning something similar -Spotting mechanism wouldnt work but there will be improvements in rewarding system
-
Well you have 380mms maybe try the front turrets? Oh also one more thing i forgot tirpitz have flat turrets(whats with germany and flat armour?) you can take them out easily

Is this how ships are supposed to work on WoW?
Userext replied to Antony1953's topic in General Discussion
Turn off the collision avoidance system. It should be in the part where you bind your keys to the bottom left -
go cry in the corner. No i m not joking go cry in the corner enough with this rant. What did they do? Say mean words to you? Is that why you are here?

should i laugh or cry?

You have 0 experience on making succesfull games yet you dare to talk to WG about how to make the game. How is that not pointless? -
Is that true now? Or is it that your ignorance blocking you from learning the truth? Oh the irony. You were the one to think that realistic battleships in game would be dominating while the truth is that realistic battleships in game would suck. Now sunshine go buy a couple of books waste couple of hours then come here and do the right thing. You are an obvious battleship fan that doesnt know battleships were the least usefull class in WW2. Go learn a bit more about tactical naval warfare. Battleships were too expensive and too slow they required a lot of protection thus made them the least usefull class.

suggestion: non-team players in ranked battles
Userext replied to ClaBah's topic in General Discussion
oh look one battle proves everything! (not at earth but maybe in mars?) Your average stats on each ship mean more to me than this one battle. Your stats tell me that you arent good at any other class but CAs. So maybe instead of blaming others try to play the ships your are better at? Oh btw since you pointed hatsuharu out your winrate between random battles and ranked battles isnt diffrent. There is more teamplay at ranked battles but somehow that winrate stayed the same(%45) So yeah there is a pretty big sign that says you are the problem. No hate towards you -
tirptiz have angled citadel so i doubt its possible to penetrate it from close. Although some people reported they penetrated it from close range under front turrets. Another way is to do plunging fire which is basically trying to penetrate citadel from the weak deck armour. Could be done over 15km

Userext replied to ClaBah's topic in General Discussion
See thats the problem. Everyone thinks they are doing their part and others should do their in their own way . As i said before even the dumbest way can lead to victory if you do it together. Your problem is that you arent doing it with others. This isnt a school project. You dont do your own part because there is no "your" part Edit: I can hardly believe you are top 3 every match since your average says the otherwise Edit2: Also you dont need to do teamwork to be at top 3. -
No buddy. I know the WW2 naval history pretty well. Its not due to washington treaty restrictions nope. Its due to the the role cruisers played. Its pretty much like heavy tank vs medium tank discussion. Medium tanks were the most dominant tanks in ww2. No, heavy tanks were only scary looking useless piece of .... The important part is that your really expensive useless battleships didnt have much effect during naval battles and since they cost really lot their loss was a huge impact. They were slow, they were inaccurate, they were firing expensive shells, they were never protected enough. Battleships were just a burden for navies in WW2. Battleships werent strong or anything. On paper they looked strong but they werent usefull in real life events except for coastal bombardment. They didnt fill in a big role at WW2. They were just big, slow pieces of metal that went wasted. Again going back to the heavy tank vs medium tank thing. Heavy tanks didnt help the army much. All historians knows T-34 was the best tank in the WW2. No it was not a big [edited]heavy tank. Just like in navy. Its never the biggest one its the most usefull one and a slow ship/tank is never the most usefull one
