    I didnt say its due to compartmentalization. This guy hit a mahan(14k health?) with a 20k torp which means it should have done 18k damage. But nope 2 torps hit 12k only

    Also if i m not wrong compartmentalization doesnt work against torpedoes. Torpedoes have a diffrent mechanism Torpedo damage mechanism: Torpedo hits into bow/stern -- deals about 0.9x the listed torpedo damage, independent of ship type. Torpedo hits into citadel with TDS (e.g. anti-torpedo bulge, anti-torpedo belt) -- reduced damage, coefficient determined by the TDS system on the ship. For Yamato TDS reduced torpedo damage by 62%, and Iowa TDS reduced damage by 50%. TDS also decreases the chance of flooding Torpedo hits into a mid-section of a destroyer -- reduced damage (multiplier of 0.9x to the listed damage, as of patch 0.4.1). Flooding damage reduces ship's fighting capability by 0.66-0.12% of total HP per second, depending on ship's tier. Flooding probability depends on the place of the torpedo hit. It used to be full damage but now its decreased. If compartmentalization effects torpedoes they should say that in somewhere we can see

    mid section of a DD is its armory. Also the info i got is from wiki so this is in game. Problem here is that this didnt work because...................? This is a bug/glitch its not about compartmentalization.

    Because there is something wrong with the system Torpedo hits into a mid-section of a destroyer -- reduced damage (multiplier of 0.9x to the listed damage, as of patch 0.4.1). So if a torpedo with 20k max hits a DD in the middle it should do 18k damage period.

    So now you find excuses? He wasnt at 8km he wasnt carefull etc. But at the end its a tier 9 DD vs tier 7 DD. Dont use DDvsCA to excuse this. The situation isnt about rock vs paper. This is like saying its normal for a tier 7 BB to beat a tier 9 one because tier 9 one was too close for comfort.... i m not preteding like that. I know at 8km+ an IJNDD is at advantage but not a specific IJNDD. This is a general saying. For kagero or mutsuki this does not apply. Because these two ships have 30 secs of turret rotation(180). So when you are dodging enemy shells incoming you are giving up your fire power. And guess what, mahan can rain 75 shells a min.

    It seems as if i m the only one realising HE IS NOT At 8 KM. I dont care if he went straight into fight or he just poped around the corner he was close enough to put torps in the water. You dont put torps in the water if your enemy DD is 8 km away because its nearly impossible to hit a DD with torps at 8km if he isnt afk.

    Are we talking about the game or just a duel? It is risky to engage a DD with a DD at 7-8 km if you are not at the clear. Also it does require more skill at close range because it is a more fast phase fight. Shells have up to 12-16 secs at long range for battleships for example you can dodge most of them at long range but not at close range Why would low profile matter when the shells have a higher arc? IJNDDs are also longer than USNDDs Yes IJNDDs have better firing arc everyone knows that even the kid who just saw the trailer knows that

    Yes premium ships give bonus base exp which is why they shouldnt be allowed in ranked.

    No? Accuracy means the % of your ship hitting the target out of the shells fired. I pointed out raw DPM of these DDs and you pointed out raw dpm of CAs. There is no accuracy taking role here. Also did you not read the part i said maneuverability? You know DDs do dodge shells right? If they would calculate the amount of shells you dodged USNDDs would top it by i dont know 900 shells? USNDDs like mahan have tighter turning radius(560 mahan 640 kagero) it will be able to dodge the shells kagero puts out. This is a problem for the high alpha low RoF ship. And since there is no armour included a kagero will lose the fight. But of course the close range gun fight requires a lot more skill than long or medium range so it shouldnt suprise you that some can beat USNDDs At 7-8km range? Well there is possibility but both of you will miss a lot so there is no reason to engage a DD at 7-8 km unless you are a CA

    Its okay Dont forget that i capped 3 in mutsuki(normal DD) and i capped twice in sims(premium DD) and as we all know premium vehicles get more base exp.(why are they still in ranked?) so its safe to say that a cap for a DD equals to a full hp kill of any ship by any ship.

    did you seriously compare the situation DM and Zao in against DDs? This isnt your average Ca vs CA fight. USNDDs have a lot more maneuverability and RoF. Alpha doesnt mean anything after the DD engine nerf. For a kagero win against mahan it has to stay away from it as much as possible as others pointed out. So take your obsolete arguement somewhere else

    6-7 km yakınına görünmeden gelmezsem zaten 2 dakikada haşlarlar gemiyi. Ayrıca 6-7km yakınına gelip görünmeden torpido bıraksam da senin halen 35-40 saniyen var. Bir de 6-7 km yakınına kadar görünmeden gelmek kolay mı sanıyorsun? Havada uçak önünde kruvazör, muhrip o da olmadı kaptan yeteneklerinde torpido keşif artırıcı var(%25) onu alsan birde dümen hızını artırıcı alsan mümkün değil torpidoların sana değmesi tabi kendini kötü duruma sokmazsan

    There is the mortar-like fire arc range system in WoWs but it requires you to fire at extreme range See that place between 30k yard and 32k yard? Thats plunging fire zone By the way incase you get worried immune zone means less likely to receive citadel zone

    You dont get extra bonus for hitting a diffrent type of ship(as far as we know) or your "natural" hunter. Also i didnt quite understand the "you get bonus for manually targetting planes" you never get a bonus for manually targetting a ship for your secondary or a squadron for your AA. And i have to ask again do you find a cap exp equal to 1+1/5 of damage to enemy?
