And yet you are still missing the point -.- SECONDARY fire isnt hand controlled it is AI controlled so no these guns arent supposed to shot planes down these guns are only for ships vs ship if you dont believe in what designers of this game says you might aswell be playing a diffrent game I got spoted because a gun that is not supposed to be there fired at that plane i had 3.5 km aerial spotting range(the range where a plane can spot you) and this plane was 5.5km away so i did not need to shut my AA down but this invisible(IMPORTANT MESSAGE MY GUNS WERE POINTING AT SOME OTHER PLACE SO IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR MY MAIN GUN TO BE WORKING AS AA AT THE SAME TIME) "gun" fired at it i doubt you played much destroyers you have to have AA online in case a carrier puts fighters after you the whole game -

dude this is a bug because you can not use same guns by hand and also fire them to planes Do you even read what i wrote? these "AA shots" comes from another gun that is invisible your guns dont work as AA there are invisible guns that does this i saw a freaking shell come out of the side of my turret while i was not engaging someone This "ability" is not for historical accuracy its just a bug Why are you guys missing the point here -.- did you even play destroyer class? This is a bug not "historical accuracy" or some bs like that do you want to know why? as i stated above and as i repeated; these guns are player controlled and if you would have a destroyer you would know that 127 mm AA guns are invisible you dont see them but you can see shells coming out of your turrets which is the reason to be bug do not defend a bug here also that "improvement" caused me death a lot i had 3.5km aerial spotting range from 5.5km i got spoted by a plane because one of these invisible buged "127 mm AA gun" fired to that plane and cruisers rained shells on me this is not something that helps DDs this is like a curse i dont even use AA because of this You guys should stop ignoring the fact that these "127mm AA " are invisible and the ones you see on destroyers have no ability to shot down planes I also noticed when i fired shots doesnt come out of my destroyer's turrets they come out from 1-2 meter in front of them(tested while i was not moving) and these inivible "AA gun" shots come out of those turrets This gentelmen, this is a bug/glitch there is not a single main armament in game that can shot down planes your shots will go through those planes i crap you not i tried the game codding does not allow this so what you have at DDs 2x1 127 mm invisible AA guns as a plus to main armament which is a serious bug -
it is easier to sink a cruiser than battleship because battleship players have all time to think about their moves like chess battleships plays the long timed chess but cruisers and destroyers have to watch every second of game if they want to do something now dont get me wrong here yes BB class sometimes have problems too and they have to watch the game but not as much as cruisers and destroyers after 3.1 it will be like BB>CA>DD<CV american destroyers have the guns to gun down the cruisers and destroyers japanese destroyers have torpedoes for error 404 not found cruisers' role will be more obvious asisting battleships now i dont know if you played enough DD game but destroyers have enough problems with planes passing over them and the second you get spoted cruisers bomb you but WG is going to buff armours so it will be harder to beat cruisers for destroyers(IJN will have more problems compared to USN) they nerfed the crap out of torpedoes already you cant get much hits with torpedoes without suicidng. Yes there is a chance to do 10 hits with torpedoes and survive but 1 out of 50 games isnt what you would be expecting. High tier IJN destroyers might need some love check out gearing and shimakaze and tell me do speed and consealment matter when you have planes all around you?

They arent supposed to work as AA because you are cnotrolling them DESTROYERS DONT HAVE SECONDARY ARMAMENT that thing is a bug Now the answer above from support team is two weeks old Destroyers only have 40mm AA at best those 127 mm canons are your freaking main guns you dont ahve any other 127 mm canons on your ship that is a bug but i noticed that they are working as AA so i reported it i m hoping to get an answer to my ticket at the end of this day In game it isnt supposed to work as anti air but because of cruiser codding(i m guessing) these guns were counted as AA so next time you play destroyer lock your turrets to a location watch shells coming out of side of them magicly there isnt even a model for the anti air type 120mm+ canons on destroyers this is a well known bug but i guess they didnt know that main armament also works as AA in game too not just stats -

dude you just went full ... there is no main armament in game that can be fully controlled by a player which also can shut planes down main armament doesnt work as AA in game it isnt supposed to work that way BUT there is a problem with destroyer's AA main armament fires to planes if they are in range how? i dont know i watched a shell come out of the side of my turret and hit the plane 4.5km away from me now i already reported this situation but they told me before that DD's artillerity isnt supposed to work as AA so this is a glitch and i will receive an answer from support tomorrow i'll tell you what they will do probably fixing it before 3.1 but that will weaken destroyer's AA -

nope the main armament at destroyers are not dual purpose at least you are not supposed to use it that way also USN and IJN has main armament as their AA i sent this picture and told them about artillerity/AA thing and they said that these guns are not supposed to be AA because they are player controlled -

exciting? dude this patch is stated as DD killer i m guessing you watched anchor report at 4th of may close to the end of stream they were saying "cruisers will hunt destroyers easier with 3.1" sure american BBs dont have much torpedo protection(as they stated at stream) but that is not a direct + to DDs IJN cruisers have better chance at torping because they have more health Also they were saying that patch will come at the end of this week or next week so it is close hang in there guys i m afraid destroyers this patch might eat a big punch

After i watched anchor report may 4th i can say they are making it worse for DDs RIP DESTROYER CLASS WARSHIPS They made armour better for BBs and Cruisers and they made HE better also they were talking about how cruisers arent going to have problem taking out destroyers betrayal! must be dealt with!

New japanese carriers are going to be punishers...i hope And i noticed something when there is a ship in the cap circle and you dont have much hope to reset the cap carriers never seem to help you about that even though planes have over 100 knots speed while a little bit damage is enough to reset i hope carrier players figures this out.

my max torpedo range is 10+km -.- this guy... you are an alpha tester you knew how to play when the game started so dont talk bs about stats this is beta and at beta stats really doesnt matter do they? I dont give a crap about stats you are the one talking about stats all the time alright buddy its time to talk some sense to you beta is a testing area what matters is how ships react to eachother lets compare this situation in game to wot since you are a basicly statwh*** you might understand Now lets say FV183 would keep its alpha damage but reload would be a minute long at best it doesnt matter if you can do good in that tank against noobs does it? for years people talked about it doesnt really matter what tank you are using player matters more if a decent player with a mediocre tank dominates a "noob" with OP tank does that mean that tank isnt OP? no! you are considering this ship's situation at the moment but thats not the point for testing we should be arguing how these will become, after 1 year later do you think that this ship will always land 10+km ranged torpedoes ? Think as you are building a city with a great future would you tighten the roads becase "meh they are working now"

because i didnt talk to anyone else so they didnt answer to me also i didnt talk nonsense not much so people didnt need to correct me I looked at those pictures taht you posted and do you know what i noticed? it is 7 vs 7 game which at OBT it will be 15vs15(not sure if 10 vs 10 or 15 vs 15) after couple of months of course now the problem here is that enemy team has no carriers noticed that? thats not just it dont know why but those guys didnt launch their plane The photos of battle you posted here doesnt have the 2 thing that i have been talking about carriers scout planes i assure you if those BBs would care a bit more they could easily dodge those torps due to 3km aerial spotting range i dont know how many torpedo hits you managed to do at the end game but doing 2 hits at a nearly empty map is pathetic to what you were trying to prove Could you be kind and try to post pictures from a nearly full battle where you can use those torpedoes and hit a normal target(i m sorry i dont count the ones AFK, bleeding, under haevy fire, stuck at an island etc) you might be true about that %10-%20 thing but i m sure about 3 km aerial spotting distance to torpedoes

i m not much high at IJN only at hatsuharu tier 7 unlocked all modules so far? well low tiers are OP at the moment mostly due to people unable to dodge torpedoes %10 thing must be old or nonsense because currently torpedo spotting range is 3km for air and for warships it sometimes is buggy which leads to unevadable death if %10 thing would be real then american torpedoes would be the best, think about that stealthy torps you would get 4.5 km torpedo range? %10 would be 0.45 km which is nonsense now mostly IJN DDs are worse staticly compared to USN DDs top tiers? shimakaze gets 15 km range with 67 torpedo speed at upgraded torpedoes while gearing has 16.5km torpedo range with 66 torpedo speed and a slightly faster torp reload the only thing shimakaze is better than gearing is consealment and manueverability suprised right? gearing gets really good guns also 127 mm with 3 sec reload while shimakaze has 8 sec reload and 2km less gun range IJN DDs are nerfed to hell compared to USN destroyers for me if you want a decent tier X destroyer go for gearing shimakaze isnt what you are looking for

if you hit an enemy at 10+km range it is obvious that guy doesnt know how to play but i dont understand how can someone be that much dumb to get hit by torpedoes at 10+km range because that sounds like a lie to me happens almost every game? you are living a dream filled with lies

you can full salvo a BB such as kongo from 4 km and he can get away with getting only 1 hit how? thats not a lot of hard work honestly turn into those torps and there you go if you dont know how to dodge torps then why do you even speak of torpedoes huh? i have tier 7 japanese destroyer excuse me? i m not even close? oh this dummy -.- fubuki is a lot better than mutsuki if you didnt realise and fubuki is the only class after tier5 that peopel love i like hatsuharu(or whatever his name is) its much better than mutsuki Now main problem with japanese DDs'torpedoes is taht TORPEDOES CAN AND WILL GET SPTOD FROM AIR SINCE THEY ARE SURFACE LAUNCHED enemy has more time to turn and run away i ahve sims and hatsuharu i can see the diffrence between 5.5km ranged torps and 10km ranged torps one of them is gun based ship and MUST USE TORPS ONLY IN DANGER the otehr one however isnt a gun based ship and has to use torpedoes as main attack you get it? no? you should learn some stuff before you can even talk to me like that little boy

torpedoes hurt the noob most so enemy DDs arent noob friendly also a kongo hit can make 11k damage with citadel but a torpedo hit will make 8-14k damage(talking about mutsuki's torps here) shimakaze has 3 min reload on its torpedoes 15km range with 67 knots senjo has 1.5min reload on its torpedoes 8km range 76 knots i think cruisers are alright with those torps they already ahve better torpedoes than DDs in game having 20km range torpedo doesnt mean you will hit it actually has no plus side when your torps can only go 67 knots i suggested before that all japanese torpedoes should be improved on speed with 11+ knots so having that range can mean something even a BB who saw torps coming in from 3 km away can dodge them then you have to sit for 2-3 min try not to get blown up, hiding... right now i think american DDs have the best torps their torpedoes are faster and they have great guns no one with a brain playing japanese destroyer is going to fire a blind shot from 15 km away. The range for torpedoes doesnt really matter because eventually you have to fire them from close range for them to hit i fired 6 torpedoes directly to a BB from 4 kms mutsuki's torps have 59 knots speed and even with that BB managed to turn(kongo class BB not warspite) and evade 5 of them while he took 1 torp that did 10k damage to him Destroyers are really weak class in the game after tier 5 because whiel everyone gets better guns and stuff you dont get better protection i was chasing a carrier i had to get close enough to drop torps that he cant evade which made his secondary battery fire at me a shell penetrated front of my ship knocking out my engine and rudder it was not AP it was HE shell i was in a mutsuki so sinking him with guns would take too long eventually i had to kill him with guns because he kept evading my torps i fired 2 salvos of torps so one would scare and make him jump in front of my 2nd salvo but even from 3 km range this guy evaded my torps like a boss and i wasnt doing anything wrong i was at his broadside so at least one would hit( non torpedo hits) the problem isnt about me because i did good amount of damage back at minekaze(my highest score with only torps is 96k) that was because people didnt know how to play and at mutsuki they gave me enemies with brains and same torpedoes(minekaze's torpedoes with really small changes) they took away my guns and i was left out in the ocean with a freaking boat. Yes a freaking plastic torpedo boat i dont know how i will manage to work it out at shimakaze i dont know if any of you own it but i m guessing no one will fire those torps unless your target is under 10 km range

torpedoes at low tier might need a nerf but torpedoes at high tier(IJN i m looking at your DDs) they suck you see a torpedo plane coming in? turn doesnt matter where you turn turning is always better than sitting like a duck you see torps in the water? well you will see them from really far away and try not to get too close to islands you will look delicious i played a lot of DD games and all i can say try not to leave open sea because DDs cant get close enough to you to torp you they have 14 mm at most so your 152 mm secondaries will rip him apart and i m not even talking about your main guns

nope thats not how it works now the problem here is that you might lose control over your finger or keyboard might not see it(check under A and D their plastic can move to sides which predicts slow turn) with Q and E you give the turn command to autopilot if that would be the case you could just use autopilot all day because autopilot would be a better captain A and D have same effect with Q and E its just about computer and teh one who controls it there is no +1 time or anything
